"Scott, are you being serious?" I said while looking into Scott's dark brown eyes in disbelief that he called me over in the middle of the night to ask me to be his girlfriend.
"Yes, I'm serious, I meant it when I said I've liked you since sixth grade." He said while staring into my hazel eyes making me blush.
"Then yes Scott I will be your girlfriend," I said surprising him.
"Really?" He said with the biggest smile on his face locking his eyes with mine then a quick glance at my lips back to my eyes
"Yes," I said leaning in to kiss as he did the same only to be interrupted by a bang at the window Scott grabbed his bat and pushed me protectively behind him as he walked outside only to see it was Stiles.
"Stiles, what the hell are you doing?" Scott asked after we got done screaming.
"You weren't answering your phone. Why do you have a bat?"Stiles asked still hanging upside down
"We thought you were a predator," Scott exclaimed
"A pre... Look it's late but you guys are gonna wanna hear this. I saw my dad leave 20 minutes ago. dispatch called. They're bringing every officer from the Beacon department and even state police."Stiles said
"For what?" I asked
"Two joggers found a body in the woods."Stiles said before claiming down from where he was hanging.
"A dead body?"Scott asked
"No a body of water. Yes, dumbass, a dead body."Stiles said and I high-fived him.
"You mean like, murdered?" Scott and I asked
"Nobody knows yet. Just that it was a girl, probably in her 20s."Stiles explained
"Hold on, if they found the body, then what are they looking for?"Scott asked
"That's the best part. They only found half."Stiles said before nodding his head. "We're going."

We had just arrived at the preserve where they were looking for the body and I had hoped out off Stiles's blue jeep and next to Scott as he asked: "Are we seriously doing this?"
To which Stiles responded, "You're the one always complaining that nothing ever happens in this town." and walked towards the woods
"I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow" Scott called out locking his hand with mine
"Right, 'cause sitting on the bench is such a grueling effort." Remarked Stiles
"Also you literally invited me over" I chimed in
"Well, I had a good reason too, also no Stiles because I'm playing this year. In fact, I'm making first line." Scott said looking between both me and Stiles who was power-walking away.
"Hey, that's the spirit. Everyone should have a dream even a pathetically unrealistic one."Stiles called out
"I don't think It's pathetic I think you'll make it," I said then kissing Scott on the cheek and pulling him towards Stiles.
"Thank you and out of curiosity Stiles which half of the body are we looking for?" Scott called out
"Huh! I didn't even think about that. Also, why was Ella at your house?" Stiles said with a laugh
