The Gryffindor teenagers were all sitting in Harry and Ron's bedroom.

'I can't believe it! It's bloody unbelievable!' Ron exclaimed at the top of his lungs. 'Malfoy on the good side?! It's bloody madness!'

'I think it's sweet,' Hermione told Ron, 'how Draco and Evangeline reunited after all these years.'

'What if he is a spy?' Ron asked.

'Do you hear yourself, Ronald?! A spy?!' Hermione asked.

'He has everyone wrapped around his pinkie, Hermione. He's only been in this house for a couple of hours and he's already acting as if he's in the highest rank,' Harry told Hermione.

'Maybe, you should stop being so narcissistic and think about someone other than yourself for a minute,' Ginny said. 'Lucius Malfoy made his life a living hell and he's always felt like an outcast. He's your godfather's nephew, try to at least be civil,' the redheaded girl added.

'Civil, with Malfoy?! No chance,' Harry said.

Unknown to the teenagers was that Draco was just passing by on his way to his bedroom and had heard the entire conversation. His smile turned into a frown and ran down the stairs. He ran into the tapestry room and stared at the Black family tapestry.

'Are you alright, Draco?' Sirius asked his nephew as he was passing by.

'Why did I ever imagine that Potter and his redheaded best friend would ever accept me as one of them?' Draco sighed.

'What did Harry and Ron do?' Sirius asked, walking into the room.

'They quite believe I'm a spy for You-Know-Who and that I have everyone wrapped around my pinkie,' Draco answered. 'The only people who tried to defend me were Granger and Weaslette,' and when he realised the nicknames, he excused himself, 'Sorry, Hermione and Ginny, I meant. Merlin, it takes a lot to adjust to all of this!'

'I know how it feels for people not to believe who you truly are,' Sirius told his nephew sadly. 'Even though I proved that I was nothing like my family, people would still not believe me. And your father, he tried showing it but everyone shut him down, including me, thinking that he was the Black golden boy.'

'I wish he were here,' Draco muttered under a breath.

'Me too,' Sirius admitted. 'But you and your mother are here. This house feels less of a trap and more of home again with the two of you here.'

'Do you think people will ever be able to see beyond prejudice?' Draco asked his uncle.

'That depends on which side of you want to show to said people,' Sirius explained. 'For example, if you show who you truly are to all of these people, maybe with time they'll come to accept you,' Sirius added.

'What about my Slytherin friends? How will they react when they find out the truth?' Draco asked.

'If they truly are your friends, they'll still be your friend no matter who your parents are or what your blood status is,' Sirius tried to be encouraging, knowing that if Slytherins were how they were during his Hogwarts years, it would be a slightly harder situation to get adjusted to.

'Thanks, uncle Sirius,' Draco's last two words took Sirius aback.

'You're welcome, Draco,' Sirius smiled. 'Now, there are instructions you need.'

'Like?' Draco asked, Draco followed his mother to her and his father's room. When he saw the room, he immediately thought of his room back at the Malfoy Manor. The two rooms were similar in many ways. Draco requested his bedroom to be redecorated when he got older. But still, he couldn't help but look around. The wall of photos brought a smile to his face since he could finally get an idea of how his father looked. The picture that caught Draco's attention most was a picture of Regulus in Slytherin house Quidditch uniform.
