"Amazing! What a super story!" Demilade rolled his eyes at his comment. Fareed brushed his beard with his fingers, saying. "No wonder he stops working for you. You made a deal with your driver's daughter." He paused. "Now I get it. She needed a job and money and you needed someone to act. And it was a perfect coincidence. You used her weakness to get what you want. She was tameable that is why you choose her. "

"Well, you're right about everything but that is gone. She is my girlfriend now. The woman I love. So let's leave it at that. No need to bring back the past. And one more thing, Lola wasn't tameable. She is the opposite. I guess that is what drew me to her." Demilade said. Fareed smiled at that.

"That's good. Who could have thought you will love a girl like Lola? Anyway, they say love is blind." Fareed said chuckling. Demilade said nothing but just smiled softly. "I think that is your girlfriend coming over." He gestured with his head.

Demilade sat up and a broad smile spread on his face when he saw Lola approaching, greeting some women sitting outside a roll of shops along the way.

"Go see your babe o. Let me continue with my thing as par say we no get babe."

Demilade rolled his eyes and removed his seat belt before climbing down from the car.

A broad smile formed on Lola's face when she saw Demilade standing at the side of his car. She hastened her steps to get to him and she pulled him into a hug when she got to his presence. Demilade embraced her back, chuckling.

"Oh! What a surprise! I never imagine you will come to see me before going." She said when she pulled away looking at his face. "I thought you don't want to see me before leaving since you asked me not to go with you to the airport." She pouted.

"Why wouldn't I want to see you? I don't want you to go through the stress of seeing me off to the airport and coming back home. Moreover, I wanted to surprise you." He said.

"That's sweet." She said kissing him shortly on the lips. "I love your surprise. Thank you."

He grinned at her. "You're welcome, Love. How are you?"

"I'm fine. I went to give Dad his breakfast in his new shop. He didn't take anything before leaving this morning."

"Okay." He nodded

"What about you?"

"I'm satisfied just by seeing you." She blushed at his remarks. "You look adorable when you blush." He said chuckling lightly. Then he drew her closer and snaked a hand around her waist.

"I can't help it when you say words like that." She smiled. "So when are you going to be back?"

He traced a line along the outline of her face. "I'm not sure. I can't say when I will be done over there but I will keep you updated, okay?"

"No problem." She said. "Just make sure you call me."

"I will do that. I promise." He assured her. "I'm gonna miss you."

"I already start missing you." He smiled in reply, kissing her forehead.

They continued their conversation for a while before Fareed came out of the car. Lola was very surprised to see him.

"I didn't know you were in the car," Lola said amazed and apologetic to him.

He shook his head. "No no, it's fine. No offense taken. I would have come down to say hi earlier but I want to give you two lovebirds sometime alone."

Lola looked at Demilade and then she laughed at his reply. They exchanged pleasantries and talked with each other afterward. They were still having their conversation when Lola's friends came walking by.
