Demilade chuckled. He knew he was still mad at him for what he did on their way. He had ruined Fareed's plan of hooking up with a girl they saw at the plaza on their way. He said something about him that was not truly ruining the way the girl sees him before she walked away from them. Not that he regretted it. He had been flirting with almost all the pretty ladies in the plaza. He even flirted with the young innocent lady behind the counter at the supermarket, making the girl drool at him.

"So you still dey vex." He asked amused.

"Why won't I? That girl will think that I am one of those fake guys and that I am terrible in bed. You know that is not true and you know that I am very good."

"How would I know? Am I gay?" Demilade said, laughing. Fareed gave him the middle finger.

"You know that I will never do that," Demilade replied still laughing.

"But wait sef, what if she is supposed to be my future wife?" Fareed asked looking serious which Demilade know it is just a facade.

"No be only future wife. That one is not wife material. But if at all, she is going to be your future wife, which I am sure isn't going to be, then fate will bring you two together." Demilade answered.

Fareed rolled his eyes. "That one is a motivational speech. I'm going to do my own back, you know that right?"

Demilade chuckled. "We will see." Then he smirked.

Fareed was about to return to what he was doing when something caught his attention and he looked out through the window. He furrowed his brow and he turned toward Demilade with a questioning stare.

"Where are we?" Fareed asked with distaste, looking around the street through the car.

"The street where my girlfriend lives," Demilade answered him, blandly.

His brow creased at him before looking out through the window again.

"Like seriously? You kidding me, right?"

"No, I'm not. What do you think that I am going to do here if I don't have an important reason to be?" Demilade asked rhetorically.

"So this is where feisty Lola with the contagious smile lives?"

"Yeah," Demilade replied leaning back in his seat.

Fareed looked out again, still perplexed. He seems like he was finding it hard to believe what Demilade had told him.

"What?" He queried.

"I didn't picture you dating a girl living in such an environment Demmy. This place is.... out of the world. How do people live here? Look at how they keep gawking at the Jeep. What's so fascinating about the car? Is that why you insisted on taking this jeep, not other ones or mine?"

"Yeah. As per my girlfriend's request. She asked me not to drive an expensive car to see her here." He replied.

"What?" He sneered.

"Don't start thinking otherwise. It's not like she isn't proud of me. It's just because of the environment and security purposes. And I understand because I know the kind of attention I drew to myself the last time I brought my Nissan GTR here."

"Wow! That's fascinating. How do you meet her? Because I am sure you didn't come here for any kind of business." Fareed said.

"She needed a job. I met her through her father. Mr. Bamidele, my former driver."

"You're fuckin kidding me." Demilade shook his head. "So, Lola is your ex-driver's daughter. Mr. Bamy, that quiet elderly man that was your driver."

"Yes."
