"Bulbasaur! Use tackle!" It sounded like those two were having fun. I looked down at Charie who had hidden behind my leg. She must not like the noise. I couldn't help but chuckle at my own thought. I picked her up and turned to leave when my phone started ringing. I walked us outside and answered it.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Sandra, it's me, Tina. Are you still at the lab?"
"Yeah. Why? Do you need to talk to me?"
"Yeah. the professor and I were talking when the topic of Charmander came up." I looked down at Charie. I gave her a warm smile.
"I'll be right in."
"So you're telling me Charie, once fully evolved, can mega evolve?" Tina nodded her head.
"Yep! And there's two different forms, too!"
"Okay... I know I'm the one who chose Charie, but what else is this about?" The professor momentarily paused her game with Charie and stepped in.
"Tina would like to join you in your journey! If you're okay with it as well, that is." I grinned.
"I'm game."
