I can get sick of Sci Fi really quickly, but I'm somewhere like 13 chapters into this gem of a story from @littlesilverwren.

Written in third person but still getting the protagonists' voice across well enough that you care what happens to them, Subterra Heart  is a great read for anyone who enjoys unique worlds, mystery, and characters that feel genuine.

It's heavy on the descriptive paragraphs for a Wattpad story maybe, but less so than Twisting Every Way. And while Twisting Every Way feels like a dream, this feels more vivid. You feel as though you are there with these people and when they feel you feel too.

As I keep reading I wait for the right moment when the author will hopefully take complete advantage of this empathy and bring in some unexpected heartbreak. But regardless of whether or not that happens I can feel enough that I keep reading.

I actually care about these characters and ya just don't know how hard it is to make me care these days lmao

So take note, fellow writers and be like Celia. Take some time to get your descriptions right, appeal to the senses, and get good pacing.

That last one is something I really envy, but I think reading this has had a good influence on me - so yay

Oh I should say something negative about this story before I go. Beware the swearing - or rather lack thereof. It's done for a reason, apparently you can get a mature label chucked on things which I imagine would be annoying.

However I'm someone who rolls my eyes so hard when someone comments on something trying not to swear and using replacement words that just

just uh

just don't carry the same feel.

Some people prob find it funny I guess and it is creative but I'm not a fan.

Everything else is fucken lit tho
