13: Watari's Loyal Helper

Start from the beginning

It didn't even ring once because he immediately picked up.

"Ryuzaki."

"Guess again."

"Ms. Y/n?"

"Hello Watari."

"Do you need something?"

"No I'm just bored. How are you? What you been up too these days?"

She heard him chuckle before responding, "I'm good Ms. Y/n, yourself?"

"I'm bored." she groaned.

"I'm guessing Ryuzaki isn't there."

"No one is here."

"I'm just getting some stuff to make for Ryuzaki."

"Ou, What are you making?"

"Basially cakes."

"I thought you bought that." She sat in L's chair, propping her foot on the table.

"I buy some most of the sweets for him, Ryuzaki likes the cake when I make them."

Y/n lit up, getting an idea, "Can I help?" she said a bit too loudly.

Watari laughed, "Of course you can, I'll be there in 10 minutes."

He hung up and Y/n put his phone back.

Y/n stayed in L's chair, spinning in circles. She got up eventually heading to the living room, putting on some music.

10 minutes flew quickly and she heard a knock on the door.

Y/n lowered the music a bit and opened the door. Before her an old man stood with bags in his hands.

"Watari! what a surprise." she joked.

"Hello Ms. Y/n." he laughed.

She stepped aside, allowing him to enter.

He went into the kitchen, Y/n trailing behind.

"So what's first boss man?"

Watari smiled at her, he really did like her and her personality.

He unpacked everything from the bag he had, " All he eats, really are-"

"Strawberry cakes." she finished his sentence whilst looking into the brown bags he brought.

Watari looked a bit taken a bit, "That's right."

Watari gave her a measuring cup and opened the flour for her. He got a bowl from the over head cupboards and placed it before her.

"You take 4 of those and put it in that bowl."

Y/n did as she was told, getting some flour on her shirt in the process. This made Watari laugh a bit.

"You sure are messy."

"I'm a kid at heart."

Watari gave her two eggs and he took one, he cracked his then allowed he to crack the two she had.

He chopped pieces of strawberry and threw some in.

She stirred whilst Watari added all the other stuff into the bowl. Eventually the smell of strawberry filled the kitchen.

"Do you want me to mix? You seem tired."

"Not at all. I got it." she lied, she felt as if her arms were ready to fall from her body

Watari got a pan and she poured it into it.

"How long have you been doing this for him?"

Watari thought for a while, "Years now."
