"good morning" a very cheerful seolbin said
"where are hyewon and joe?" i asked
"they're not coming in today" she replied
"thanks" i said before walking off.
i walked straight out of school
"BANG MINSOO" my uncle called out chasing me
"are you skipping class again?" he sighed out
"my friend" i said
"oh lee byunghun?" i nodded
"alright, do you want a ride?" he asked
"don't you have to do your job?" i asked confused
"i can nip out for ten minutes don't worry minsoo get in" he pointed at his car
i got in the car and he took me to joe's house
"minsoo" he said before i left
"do your parents proud and go to class" he said smiling softly at me
"they left me uncle, not the other way around" i said before leaving the car
i knocked on joe and hyewon's front door and a women who i presumed to be their mum opened the door
"er hi i'm here to see joe" i nervously said
"joe?"
"lee byunghun"
"oh byunghun is up in his room its the first on the left" she said smiling at me as she opened the door further so i could enter
that was a lie...i'm here to see hyewon really...please be okay hyewon
"minsoo?" hyewon asked coming out of her room
she looked so disheveled and tired
"are you okay?" i asked instantly hugging her
"not really" she replied hugging me back
"do you want to go there?" i asked indicating the place we went to yesterday
"i do" she replied as more tears fell from her eyes
"go get ready, i'll be in joe's room" i said ruffling her hair
i knocked on joe's bedroom door
"mum?" he called out in a weak voice
"it's me joe, minsoo"
"what are you doing here?" he asked opening his bedroom door
do i lie and say i've came to see him...i have came to see him but also hyewon...mainly hyewon...does this make me a shitty friend?
"i've come to check up on you and hyewon" i replied
"where did you and my sister go yesterday in class?"
"i took her to this rooftop place i go to clear my head, she liked it" i replied shrugging my shoulders
"i'm actually just about to take her there now if you want to come too" i said smiling softly at the also disheveled boy infront of me
"its really nice trust me byunghun" hyewon said appearing behind me
"alright let me get ready" joe said grabbing a towel
"come sit with me" she said taking my hand and pulling me towards the living room
"i thought you said you were here for byunghun?" their mum asked
"i am, i'm also friends with hyewon" i replied
"what's your name?"
"bang minsoo"
"oh hyewonie-" she started to say but hyewon placed her hand on her mums mouth before she could finish her sentence
"where's your brother?" she asked hyewon
"getting ready"
"why?"
"we're going for a walk with minsoo to clear our heads" she replied smiling at me, i smiled back
"oh i'll go tell him to hurry up" their mum said walking away upstairs
"your mum is nice" i said breaking the awkward silence between me and hyewon
"she doesn't know when to stop talking sometimes" hyewon laughed out
"bit like you" joe said stumbling down stairs with a tshirt and jeans on
"you're going like that?" hyewon asked disgusted
"i literally just finished showering, and it's not even like i take long showering, anyways i just finished showering and mum was like come on byunghun hyewon is waiting for you so i rushed getting dressed" he said ruffling his very wet hair
"go put a nice outfit on we can wait" hyewon said pushing her brother away
three minutes later joe came back down with a different shirt on but one that matched his jeans and slightly dryer hair
"dryed your hair too?" i asked
"rubbed it with a towel" he replied shrugging his shoulders
"shall we go?" hyewon asked slipping her shoes on
"we shall" joe replied as i put my shoes on too
"right mum we'll be back shortly, we have our phones so call us if necessary" joe said as he put his shoes on
"bye, be careful" she said waving at them as we left the house
