its been two weeks since joe and hyewon last came into school...thankfully joe let us know what happened so we can be respectful of boundaries and i made a promise to myself...i will never not be nice to noh hyewon from now on.
"you're back" i said gently hugging joe
"i am...i miss my dad so much" he said hugging me back
"where's your sister?" i asked him
"at her locker with na seolbin" joe replied
"i'm gonna go see her" i said
"bang minsoo please don't hurt her...my dad was her first father figure too" joe said holding onto my wrist
"i've sworn to myself to be nice to noh hyewon" i said before walking to hyewon's locker
"hyewon" i said softly, she looked at me confused
"minsoo i'm not in the mood to argue" she replied sighing
"i'm not here to argue...can we go and talk please"
"sure" she replied as i grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a corridor where no one was
"hyewon" i said engulfing her into a hug
"it's okay hyewon, i know you miss your dad" i said stroking the back of her hair
"and i promise to be nice to you from now on" i said leaning my head on the top of her head
"thank you minsoo" she said hugging me back
my heart was racing...i hope she can't feel it

"are you okay?" i whispered to hyewon in class
"mhm i guess" she replied looking so sad
i looked over to where joe was sat in his seat who was leaning on his hand also looking so depressed
"come here and rest" i said pulling her chair closer to mine and leaning her head onto my shoulder
"let me know if you want to leave, we'll leave" i whispered to her
"thank you" she whispered closing her eyes.
10 minutes later hyewon lifted her head off of my shoulder
"i can't stay here can we go?" she asked
"of course" i said grabbing our bags and stood up and walked out of the class with her
"let me take you somewhere that i think you will like" i said leading her out of the school grounds
"i keep forgetting your uncle is the principal and you can do whatever you want" she said taking her bag out of my hand
"it's great honestly i can skip class whenever i want" i replied sliding my hands into my pockets
"so where are we going?" she asked
"it's a secret for now but i'm sure you'll like it" i replied.
