There's a sort of unwritten law within high school; Popular people stay with popular people, the smart people stay with the smart people, the music people stay with the music people, and the averages stay with the averages. Now within those groups there is other groups. The jocks, cheerleaders and sluts are the groups within the popular people; nerds, know-it-alls, and straight A students are the groups within the smart people; and so on.

But if you keep getting lower and lower and lower you find the outcasts. Now the outcasts don't have groups, or many friends for that matter. These people are the ones who are in clubs in the basement or selling drugs out back during lunch break and free period. The outcasts are the punks, the mentally or physically impaired, the low lives, and the emos.

Not all of these people are bad. They just hang out with bad people. I've learned quickly that in high school that nice is different than good. Someone can be a nice person but not good. Which brings me to when this whole mess started; when someone threw a Dairy Queen cup at my head.
