“Hahaha, that I did. But, I did report it all to my Father
   after the fact,” Sea said.

“What’s the point of reporting it after the fact if you can’t
   do it properly?!” Jade yelled.

… It feels like it’s getting ugly, but should I stop it?

No, isn’t it a bad idea for a third party to get involved in a
   family dispute…?

“You’re still like this even though you’ve been caused so much
trouble…” Jade said before he stopped and took a deep breath.

   Then…

“And yet you haven’t fulfilled your dreams of being popular!”

… He said a word that cut straight to Sea’s weakness.

Immediately, Sea’s face turned red and his lips trembled. “Wha,
you, you bastard… what are you saying…?” he said.

Umm… I have been able to see the unexpected sides of the
Capture Targets and sometimes my images of them are shattered,
so I can make a rough guess as to where this is going…

When I glanced at Jade, he was smiling gleefully.

“Yes,” Jade said. “Sea wanted to be popular, so became a bard
for some odd reason, but so far, his years of having no lovers
   = age.”

“Oh, is that so?” I asked. “Then, in that case…”

“Yes,” Jade said. “It’s as you think, Marshall. If he was a
woman, he’d easily clear one of the conditions for using the
   Ultimate Magic.”

   “Yeah, well, I see…” I muttered.

When it comes to the unexpected sides of one of the most
popular Capture Targets, that’s what I was guessing…

“Sh-Shut up! So what if I’m an innocent soul?! Is that really
so bad?!” Sea shouted as he stomped on the ground. Well, it
   wasn’t a bad thing, really?

“What do you mean, ‘innocent’?” Jade huffed. “You’re hiding in
these bushes, trying to see lovers flirting under the excuse of
   finding inspiration for poetry.”

“L-Leave me alone!” Sea said. “The people who flirt and show
off in public are the ones at fault here!”

Oh, he didn’t deny it… well, I think there are people that
shamelessly flirt out in the open but this is a bit
   voyeuristic…

Sea might have noticed my gaze and my surprised expression, he
cleared his throat. “Well, moving on, I’m here for other
   reasons as well.”

So in the end, he wasn’t peeping…?

“Then, what are those other reasons?” Jade asked.

Sea smiled. “That’s right, I’ve got a message from the Lady of
Light to the Lady of Darkness.”

   “A message… for me?” I asked.

Are these additional instructions for the Michaela doll?

“Yes, that’s right,” Sea said. “The Lady of Dark must be
training around here near the Castle of Darkness, so she asked
me to take a peek at lovey-dovey couples while I’m at it.”

Michaela… aren’t you going to stop your people from peeking on
   others…?

“What’s wrong, Lady of Darkness?” Sea asked.

“Nothing, I’m just still concerned about the morals of the
   Light Faction…” I muttered.

“Fufufu, don’t worry, you’ll be perfectly fine,” Sea said. “I
   guarantee it.”

   “Is that so…?” I asked.

Yeah, I was overwhelmed with anxiety but… I feel like I’ll lose
if I pursue this topic any deeper.

“So, then Sea, what is your message to the Marshall?” Jade
asked, putting the conversation back on the right track.

“Oh, yes, right, the message,” Sea said. “The Lady of Light
says it’s alright to leave everything to her.”

“I’ll leave everything to the Saint of Light…?” I asked.

   What the hell… what…?

“Fuh-fuh-fuh, seems you can bring good news sometimes after,
huh, Sea?” Jade said, smiling suspiciously.

   “Good news?” I asked.

“Yes, good news, Marshall!” Jade said. “Leave everything to the
   Saint of Light, that is…

… I feel like he’s going to say something no good.

   Regardless, let’s ask anyway…

“Well, what is it?” I asked.

“Yes!” Jade said. “The couple’s nickname for you two is going
   to be ‘Light x Dark!’”

   … Yeah, I figured he’d say that.

“Yeah, that fits,” Sea said. “The Lady of Light being first
   sounds better and is catchier.”

Sea thinks so as well, he nods, convinced… ugh, I’m getting
tired of this business, but let’s correct it.

“So, Jade, I told you that I and the Saint of Light are just
   friends, right?” I said.

“But Marshall!” Jade said. “That you haven’t become a couple
yet means there’s still a chance you can!”

“You’ve got a point, the Lady of Darkness seems like the type
to be easily seduced, so it’s possible, isn’t it?” Sea said.

“You bastards…” I grumbled. “Stop putting things through your
   biased eyes…”

   However, I can’t completely deny their claims…

But, even if I do end up dating Michaela, it will have to be
after we’ve returned to our original worlds. According to her,
it seems we can’t meet much while training for the Ultimate
   Magic…

“Marshall? What did you just sigh for?” Jade asked.

“Are you exhausted because Jade forces you through such
   unreasonable training?” Sea asked.

“Oh, no, it’s nothing,” I said.

In this situation, if I say, “I’ve made a friend but I’m a
little sad I can’t see her for a while.”, Jade might put me
through the wringer again so I’ll keep from saying it.
