Start from the beginning

"Oh fuck this." I jumped down to the level below, and then the level below that. I see the two Captains crash down, falling below to the bottom level and I sigh. "Idiots." I call before jumping down. I see them both stand up for a moment, staring at each other. I roll and take hold of the scepter but they begin to fight again (like total children).

"DO IT, AIR." Steve tells me.

"STOP STRUGGLING." I tell him. Which was easier said than done, I guess. I hit the Steve behind him with the back of the scepter and he only gives Steve from my present time more shit.

"Bucky... is..." I realise what he's saying and I widen my eyes. "...alive."

2012 Captain America lets him go and looks over at him, before he can even question it, I put the scepter to his chest and he falls to the ground.

"Well, that was one way to do it." I say to him, he picks up a compass off the floor and puts it away and I raise an eyebrow.

"That is America's ass." He says, looking at his own ass.

"Come on, then, Captain America." I mutter.

"Cap, Air." We turn around and see the two idiots in a smashed up car. Whoever came up with the idea of sitting in the car was what I wanted to bet on. "Sorry, guys. We got a- problem."

"Huh. Yeah we do." Scott says, annoyed.

"Well, what are we gonna do now?" Steve asks.

"Give me a break, Steve." Tony says. "I just got hit in the head with the Hulk." He says, still in the car.

"You said we had one shot. This-this was our shot. We shot it. It's shot. Six stones or nothing. Six stones or nothing-" Scott begins

I sigh. "You're repeating yourself. You know that, right? You're repeating yourself-"

"You're repeating yourself. You're repeating yourself. You know- no-"

"Dude come on-" Tony begins.

"You never wanted a time heist. You went on board with the time heist-"

"I dropped the ball."

"You ruined the time heist."

"Is that what I did?" Tony looks over at him, shocked.

"Yeah!"

"Are there any other options for the Tesseract?" I ask Tony.

"No, no. There's no other options. There's no do-overs. We're not going anywhere else. We have one particle left. Each. that's it, alright? We use that- bye bye. You're not going home-"

"Yeah, well if we don't try, then no one else is going home, either." Steve says.

"I've got it. There's another way." Tony says, standing up out of the car. "To retake the Tesseract and acquire new particles. We'll stroll down memory lane- you two." He says, pointing at me and Steve,"Military instillation, Garden state."

"When were they both there?" Steve asks him.

"They were there at a- a vaguely exact idea-" Stark says.

"How vague?" I ask him. Scott talks in the background but we don't listen.

"I know for a fact they were there. And I know how I know." He says to the two of us.

Steve sighs and looks at me and I only shrug. "Well, looks like we're improvising." I take the scepter off of him and hand it to Scott.

"Get that back to the compound." I tell him.

"Suit up, you two." Stark says.

"What's in New Jersey?" Scott asks.

"0-4." Stark says the numbers and we copy them in. "0-7."

"EXCUSE ME."

"1-9-7-0"

"Are you sure?" Steve asks him.

"Cap. Captain. Steve, sorry. America. Rogers. Look, if you do this-" Scott says, all of us looking at him. "-and it doesn't work. You're not coming back."

I breathe out heavily and look down at the ring on my finger. "Thanks for the pep talk, pissant." Stark says before turning to me. "Do you trust me?"

I sigh and think for a moment. "Yeah." He looks over at Steve.

"I do." He says.

"Your call." I tell Steve.

"Here we go." He says, before we travel... Again.
