THE TREES SHIVERED UNDER THE WIND'S TOUCH, rustling at the breeze passing through under the blanket of twinkling stars decorating the inky night sky. It was your typical Sunday evening with abodes crawling with chaos as people got ready for the next morning, but on this particular night sat four boys and a teenage girl in the Wheeler's basement, all hunched around a small table placed in the centre of the room, fully engaged in a game of Dungeons and Dragons.

"Something is coming. Something hungry for blood." Josie Henderson spoke, watching as the four boys intently listened to her. "A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness. It is almost here..."

Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Will were all on the edge of their seats, looking focused as ever. It was almost comical how passionate they were about this game and Josie found it hard not to laugh at times.

"What is it?" Will questioned eagerly.

"What if it's the Demogorgon?" Dustin thought aloud, "Oh, Jesus, we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon."

"It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas asserted.

"We don't know that for sure." Mike argued.

Josie promptly interrupted their chattering by slamming down a six-legged miniature figure onto the grid map. "An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber."

"Troglodytes?" Dustin questioned with a humored smile.

"Told 'ya." Lucas smirked as the two boys shared a chuckle.

"Wait a minute...Did you hear that?" Josie softly stammered, slowly stomping her feet for affect, "That sound...Boom...boom...boom. That didn't come from the troglodytes. No that...That came from something else." She then slammed a two headed monster onto the table, "The Demogorgon." Causing a series of groans around the table.

"We're in deep shit." Dustin swore.

"Will, your action!" Mike exclaimed.

"I don't know!" The boy from beside her spoke in a state of panic, internally gulping that the Demogorgon had to come on his turn.

"Fireball him!" Lucas instructed.

"I'd have to roll a 13 or higher!"

"Too risky." Dustin stated, "Cast a protection spell."

"Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas urged.
