Author here! I want to apologize first hand to anyone who reads this story, I was 15/16 when I wrote this, so the writing is bad, the plot line is weird and just... bad. I apologize for any cringiness, it's been 5-6 years since I wrote this story and I personally don't have the energy or time to go through and edit anything not factual or anything like that. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the story, if not the story, at least enjoy the dumpster fire.

It's been four years since Emmett and I's little flame blew out. Four years since we brought our daughter, Riley home from the hospital.
Emmett and I haven't had a casual conversation since I called it quits with her, the only words we speak to each other are Riley related. I tell her what's up with Riley when I have her and vice versa.
Riley is such an adorable little girl. According to my mom and my band, she looks just like me. She has my grey eyes, and has golden blonde hair like I did as a child.
Riley is also a big daddy's girl, but she doesn't get to spend much time with me because of tour. I spend as much time possible with her when I can.
In the past four years, I've gotten a girlfriend. Her name is Lily, I've been with her for two years. Part of me is still in love with Emmett, but we've both burnt our bridges.
