~• Part 33 •~

Waking at 7 in the morning since I have meetings today. Finished showering and dressed, I went downstairs for a little breakfast. Made myself a coffee while eating some biscuits. The notifications on my phone keep coming that I swear it'll burst. I was busy with my phone when I catch a glimpse of silhouette passing by me. Looking away from my phone, I saw it's her. She seems looking for something.

"What are you searching for?" I asked. She doesnt even care to answer. I sighed while still looking at my phone. "I asked you again. What are you looking for?" I looked at her but she still would budge. I know what she's looking for.

"It's not here." I said and she finally looked at me. "you're looking a tea right? I didnt have it in my house." I said and she just looked down. Then she grab her apron and went out.

Did she still working at Seungcheol's? unbelievable. What's the point running away from me but still working at a place I can easily found? moreover my cousin's place? Put aside all of that, I went out ready for the meetings.

Eunjin's POV

Embarrassing isnt it? I feel like lost a lot of energy that I need tea to boost it up. I thought he still have it but I guess he throw it away just like how he threw me. I bought one at the cafe I'm working at. My boss wanted to give it for free but I refused. Another day, another work, another busy day. I still didnt quit my other job cause I still need it. Hope my body can stand it.

A week has passed since I started living with him again but he being nothing but so annoying and even more hard to handle. He keep ordering me here and there. Asking me to clean the whole house even if I just did. Do the dishes and laundry for everyday before and after work.

Talking about works, I came home late almost every night since I do lots of overtime. He keep nagging and mad because of always coming late. I asked Cheol to not tell him and he thankfully agreed. But I'm also surprised that Cheol knew I lived with him now. I asked him to not tell Wonwoo about this or he will be so mad. He refused at first but then agreed.

Today was just the same. My shift ended at 11pm but adding the closing it'll be at 12 am.

"Eun, you should be back now or he's going to nag at you again." Cheol said but I shook my head. "No. I didnt finished my job yet. I dont want to left it unfinished." I said back to him and he sighed. We closed and cleaned everything. I looked at the clock, it's almost 1am now. This is the most late that I've ever be home.

We bid goodbye and went home. I'm riding my bicycle, so I cycle it as fast as I can. Luckily his house is not that far compare to mine before but still, quite far from the cafe and it's late.

The road was so quite and silent as people already asleep. I finally arrived home. Looking at my watch it's almost 2am. My god, I hope he's asleep already. Walking slowly and opened the door as slowly as I can to prevent from making any sound.

Close it back and sighed. I did it. I went to the kitchen to have some water since I'm feeling extremely tired and thirsty. My head throb a little. Finished everything, I slowly went to the stairs to my room. I was about to take the second steps when the lights are suddenly opened. It made shocked and stopped abruptly in my place.

"Where do you think you're going?" I heard a voice asked. I dont make any fault but why I'm feeling guilty at this. Gulping hard before turning around and face him. His sitting at the couch right across the stairs. He clenched his jaw tight and stare intensely and sharply at me. I didnt answered him but instead keep quiet.

"Do you know what time is this?" he asked still having the same stare. Not being able looking at his eyes, I put my head down, fidgeting with my fingers. Annoyed with my actions he asked again. "Don't you hear me? I asked you again. Do you know what is this?" he asked again but this time he already stood up on his feet.

I'm still silent. I just can't thinking of any words right now. I can sense he's walking towards me. "It's almost 2am. 2 in the morning! Do you know how dangerous this could be for a girl like you??" he asked raising his voice that made me flinched.

"Eunjin, you are a girl. Anything can happened at this time! Not to mention you only ride your bicycle?? A bicycle..How can you be so stupid?!" He raged.

"I'm not s-stupid and w-why do yo-you care? you h-hated me." I said back that made he close his eyes and look away for a second.

He then look back at me with clenched jaw. "If it's going to be like this, just quit your job." he coldly said and ignoring my question. I looked up at him and saw he already staring at me. "N-No. I won't quit it. It's my job." I rebutted back.

"I don't understand you. You already cleared from the debt. Why did you still need the job?" he asked. I calmly tried to answer. "I..I need m-money..I still w-want to pay you" I said stuttering a lot since I was afraid and nervous with his voice and looks.

"Don't you understand what cleared from the debt means?? You dont need to pay anything anymore! Once you signed the contract, you'll be paying me with your service. You don't need any fcking job!" he raised his voice and it does made me flinched.

"N-no. I-I will still continue w-working. Y-you don't own me." I said back to him that made him frowned.

"what? what did you said? I don't own you?" he asked disbelief with he just heard while I put my head down not daring to look at him. He let out a scoffed and crossed his arms on his chest looking intensely and fiercely at me.

"well as long as I remember, the contract said that I own everything in the house. Everything and that include you, Miss." he said making me looked at him with a wide eyes. He just proudly smirking like he's winning something.

Gritting my teeth and let out a frustration breath. He's crazy.

"I-I'm still with my words. Whether you l-like it or not, I'll continue working." I said looking at him in the eyes with determination. I need to stand up and stop listening to him.

"Try me" he said with a smug expression.

"I'm seriou-"

"And I'm serious too, Miss Eunjin. So stop pushing it too far cause I hate it." he cut me off. I can see his jaw clenched with fierce look in his eyes that made him look scary but it wont stop me.

"S-stop holding m-me back. Y-you....y....you....."

"You what? Just speak Eunjin." I can hear a glint of impatient in his voice. I take a deep breath, looking at him in the eyes that made he furrowed his forehead before continue my words

"y-you're not my husband anymore" I said and quickly walked away. Leaving him frowning.
