Chapter 8

Ashton's P.O.V
"NICOLE ROSE ITS TIME FOR DINNER" her mother screams

"Would you like to stay for dinner Ashton?Please?" She asked while walking to the bathroom to put makeup on to cover her swollen eyes.
"I-uhm I'm not hungry" I say while lying because of course I am,i never eat
"That's okay neither am I,maybe you could just stay and give me some company?"
"Of course" I say while she leads me down the stairs.

We sat for a while and I talked to Nicole's mom for a bit before she had to leave for a conference,
"Alright goodbye hun I love you I'll be back in a week,be responsible,Ashton your welcome anytime dear,just don't stay here past 10 o'clock alright son" she says with a smile and giving Nicole a kiss on the cheek
"Love you too mom" she says before her mom walks out the door

"You didn't touch your food" I say looking at her plate
"I'm not hungry," she stated throwing her plate in the sink
"I think I should go"
"No stay,I can't be alone right now" she says while grabbing my hand
"You know I'd love to stay,but my uncle he'll get mad....really mad"
"Oh,I understand" she says while plopping herself on the couch
Fuck seeing her sad makes me really upset I can't handle it
"Well maybe I could stay for a movie or two"
"Oh my gosh thank you" she said while giving me a bear hug,she smelt like apples I love it.

Nicole's P.O.V
He is so perfect,honestly if it weren't for him I'd be cold and Dead lying on my bathroom floor right now,I actually wish I was to be honest,sure my mom and Ashton would miss me,but sometimes I feel like he's only being nice to me because he feels bad for me....

"This movies really good" he said to break the silence
"Mhhmm" I mumble
"Are you mad at me?" His eyes looked so sad it hurt me
"I get it Ashton you don't want to be my friend,i know you just feel bad for me okay,I don't need the pity,I need a friend not a fake one" I say bluntly

Ashton's P.O.V
"I wouldn't be here if I didn't care for you" I say shoving my face in my hands "the fact that you think I'm here just because I feel bad that is extremely hurtful,that's not the reason at all."
"Then whats the reason,everyone hates me because of the stupid rumours why don't you?!" She says covering herself up with her sweater
"Honestly Nicole,I have no idea what it is about you,but you have got that spark and when you first sat beside me in English I was scared shitless because I thought you were "that" popular girl and that you'd never acknowledge me,but you did and it's honestly the best feeling I've ever had being able to talk to you without being judged."I say and take a deep breath and close my eyes
Suddenly I feel her soft lips crash against mine,it was an amazing feeling,i was very shocked
"Fuck I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that" she says and covers her mouth and takes a few steps back
I quickly pulled her back into my chest and kissed her back
"Fuck,don't be sorry babe"
"Stop flirting with me Irwin" she winks
"Fine,I've got to head home anyways hun"
She walked with me towards the door and I couldn't help but stare at her,that perfect girl doesn't believe she's perfect and it kills.
I turn to face her and grab her hands "Promise me you'll be safe and come to school on Monday?"
"I promise" she says back quickly as I step out the door
"Goodbye beautiful"
"Thankyou" she says closing the door lightly
