The next day y/n was walking home with the Davenports from school. Her dad was talking with Donald as they walked in.
"There you are" Donald said turning to the kids.
"It's was him!" Leo, Adam, Bree and Y/n all said pointing to Chase. Chase turned around and looked at them.
"Just take the hit we all know your his favorite" Bree said as Adam pushed him forward.
"Good news- I sold the painting" Donald said ignoring what just happened
"What? why?" Chase asked
"I feel bad for those people" y/n mumbled.
"Some Wall Street guy e-mailed me and said he'd buy it for a million more than I paid for it"
"For that junk? Are people just throwing out money now?" Everyone stared at y/n "just saying" just then the door bell rung
"Hear that? That my friends is a seven-finger ding dong" Donald walked to the door singing 'money's coming' when he open the door it showed the feds
"Donald Davenport?" They guys asked
"Uh-huh"
"I'm special agent Ryker. We got a call from a prospective buyer that you were attempting to sell forged art."
"Forged art? What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about this" he said pointing to the painting "the buyer reported that this canvas still had the price tag attached, that it was purchased at the art depot... on sale" Agent Ryker said showing the tag on the canvas
"I-I don't understand"
"It's when a store offers a product at a discount. Mr.Davenport, selling fake art is a felony. You could be facing 20 years in prison" they started to put the handcuffs on him.
"Agent I sure there's been some misunderstanding, my friend won that painting in an auction" Alexander helped Donald.
"20 years?! Well at least you'll be out in time for Adam's graduation" Leo said
"Guess I'd better start studying" Adam said.
"I don't understand how this could have happened. That painting is an original. It's got an I.D chip imbedded in the canvas. Scan it." The Agent scanned it and it made a buzzer sound.
"That, sir, is the bad buzz, which means no chip. But there is a chip in prison and he is mean" they started walking him out but Bree stopped them.
