"First of all, he's my boyfriend and travel companion." y/n corrected, "Second, he put me in a bag."
"That's not how friends work, y/n."
Thoma deadpanned, "Ya'll are dating?"
"Dating?" y/n echoed, "What's dating?"
"She doesn't know what romance is." Paimon explained carefully to Thoma as Aether's face started getting a little purple from the lack of oxygen, "As far as she knows, a boyfriend is a friend who is a boy. Same with a girlfriend."
"What about non-binaries?"
"Paimon doesn't think y/n knows what non-binary means..." Paimon murmured.
"What's binary?" y/n asked.
Paimon gave Thoma a look, "See?"
"So... she just doesn't know what romance is?" Thoma questioned and flinched under y/n's searing gaze.
"Who are you callin' an idiot?" she demanded, "HUH? SPEAK UP."
"I didn't even-" Thoma sighed when y/n let out a quiet growl, "Nevermind..."
"Hey, y/n, maybe you should let Aether go, he's losing health." Paimon pointed out and y/n glanced at the blond.
Right... she was strangling him.

Upon entering the Kamisato Estate(???), y/n decided the Dawn Winery was prettier.
As usual, she paid little to no attention to the conversation around her.
She could smell someone else nearby...
Y/n paused to glanced Aether, Thoma and Paimon. She was sure she could sneak away without them noticing.
So she did, creeping away to snoop around the Kamisato Estate a little.
Y/n found herself wandering outside, admiring her surroundings as she walked.
'It's... nice.'
It was indeed nice.
Especially the ocean.
As y/n was walking, she sensed someone else and was quick to turn around.
Her eyes briefly met another pair but the person ducked down behind some bushes before y/n could see what color their eyes were.
In their haste to hide behind the bushes, the papers they were holding went flying. Y/n almost laughed when their hand quickly shot up and fumbled around at the air to catch the drifting papers before disappearing amongst the bushes again.
Y/n also ducked down, realizing that while she couldn't see them, they could see her.
"Oh wow! I haven't seen you around here before!" a voice exclaimed, "You're pretty sharp! Most people don't notice me that quickly, hehe!"
"Is sneaking up on people normal here?" y/n questioned, "Cause if it is, you're actually pretty bad at it."
"Or your senses are at a godly level."
"Oh. Yeah, that may be it."
The other person chuckled. It was a warm sound, one that y/n liked. It didn't give her the same feeling that she got when hearing Aether or Lumine laugh but it was similar.
"So, you've come here to see Ayaka?" The person asked, "What for?"
"Actually, I dunno. The Slime brought us here and this Ayana person is chatting with my Blondie right now. It got boring so I came outside." y/n replied, "What're you doing out here, Mystery Dude?"
"Mystery Dude?" the person echoed, sounding thoughtful, "What an interesting nickname."
"Would you prefer something else?"
"No, no, Mystery Dude is fine." the person laughed, "I came out here for a break, that's all. I needed some fresh air and a moment of peace. Especially with everything happening right now."
"...want to talk about it?"
"...sure."
Y/n listened as the mystery person rambled about their responsibilities, none of which she understood.
Considering all the stuff they had to manage, y/n figured the person was probably super important or something.
"Sounds rough." y/n commented and halted when she heard Aether calling her, "Oh, the Blondie is calling."
"Guess it's time for you to go then?"
"Mhm."
The voice sounded disappointed, "Well, it was a pleasure meeting you... y/n, was it?"
"Yes. And who are you?" y/n asked.
"After all that talk about my responsibilities, you still don't know?" the person questioned, sounding genuinely surprised.
"Well, nye... if you're an important person, I wouldn't know. Especially since I just got to Inazuma." y/n admitted.
"Hm, I see..." the voice hummed before chiming, "You could just call me Mystery Dude then!"
"Eh?? You won't tell me your name?"
"Nah, I'd rather let you figure it out."
Y/n pouted, "Hmph! Fine! I'll figure it out all on my own then, Mystery Dude."
And with that, the Mita-girl got up and walked past the bush the mystery person was hiding behind, careful not to look at them.
"See you later!" she chirped.
"Farewell, y/n!" the person called.
The person watched y/n go and smiled to himself, "Hehe, what a strange person."
