"You're joking right? Tell me you're joking." I said to my friend Bianca, looking at her and Genesis in shock. They were looking at me with excited grins on their faces. "No. I'm not doing it, this is insane." I said, shaking my head.
Bianca sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes. "C'mon, Drew. We're gonna be seniors next year. Do you really wanna be that girl?" Genesis said. "What girl? The girl with morals? The girl who doesn't wanna become a teen mom and have to drop out of school? If I have to be that girl then yes I do wanna be that girl." "The stick in the mud. The girl that doesn't get invited to parties. The girl who sits in the cafeteria by herself while her friends are boo'd up. The girl who doesn't get invited anywhere because she's no fun. You've been that girl for the past three years, you really wanna go out like that?" Bianca asked me.
I looked back and forth between her and Genesis. Then, I sighed. "Okay. I'm in. Let's do it." I said. Genesis and Bianca both squealed in excitement. "Great. This summer is the summer we become women. And we'll go into our senior year women." She said, looking back and forth between us. I mentally sighed. What the hell did I just get myself into?
