After that, the party goes on until 15:00, and just when it ended Zack called upon Annette to go with him to his office together with Benjamin.

Once there he sits at his desk and signals Benjamin to do something.

Then he walks away with some items in his hands and puts all of them at his master's desk. The first item is a ring, the second is a choker and the last item is a brooch.

"Now when you have finally finished your basic training in 13 days as the custom you will select one of three magic items. This is an item that shows your loyalty and will help you with serving your master. It also works as an id. Which item you choose can show your character as an aide and will be with you until the day you die or quiet as an aide. So be careful when choosing you to get no second chance.

The items you get to choose are called an aides regalia and the items in front of you are the ones you get to choose from. All with a different enchantment. The ring's enchantment is to be able to increase your magic spells power by 12 percent. The chokers enchantment is a recording enchantment that can record anything the owner hears and sees. And lastly, the brooch has an enchantment that can help with curing 64 different poison's. Now tell me which one you choose as your aide's regalia." Zack says and Annette ponders for a while.

"I choose the choker," Annette replies seriously which causes both of them to be surprised. Normally most people don't choose a recording enchantment as it can not aide with healing or protecting your master.

"Why did you choose this?" Zack asks.

"As my lady is noble, her enemies will mostly also be people with power and it is hard to not get in trouble with them as evidence is needed and it is very easy for them to manipulate things in their favor. But if I can record the thing they do I can use that as an excuse to fight them all out without worrying that I will get into trouble." Annette says seriously and they both think that it is excellent reasoning.

"Now put it on and never take it off as it must always be with you. And another thing in a month Cassi will have her official debut as it is her 14 birthday. That is when you will finally start your real work as her aide. So it is not only her debut but it is also to showcase you as her aide as you will be a part of her power so you must do well."
Zack tells her seriously and she nodded in understanding.

"Oh and one more thing, I heard that you have not only learned the etiquette of a lady but also that of a man." He says. "Yes." She says.

"Well, Assi said that she wanted you to also be her escort. but that role is actually for a male family member or a fiance of the same or older age. But it is not unheard of that an aide can fill that role if that person is a male. So my wife thought it would be exciting if you dressed up and pretended to be a male. Well technically it is not the law that it must be a male but you must know how to dance and behave as a gentleman.

So I believe you can do it. Please make my daughter happy." Zack says with a mischievous grin as if he is waiting to experience a great show
