|The third chapter|

“We condemn a sin
before we have
even tried it”

Seungmin was walking down the park. He didn't check the time but he didn't really care. He was enjoying his alone time. His free time. After all it was his first time sneaking out from home. He was in a nearby park he used to go with his little brother Taehyung. Surprisingly, there were people out here. It was probably like 2 am. But there was a few people in the park. Mainly couples, or people getting off work late at night. He entered the park and sat down on a swing. He started to lightly push himself on it. Enjoying the fresh, a little bit polluted, air. He closed his eyes as he swung. The boy suddenly felt a presence in front of him. He slowly opened his eyes and was met with a boy. He was a little boy tho. He looked like he had been crying "oh, hello there, are you ok?" the boy shook his head no while sniffling "oh, what happened then?" "I- I lost m-my brother" Seungmin hummed and got up, making the boy step back "how about we go look for him yeah?" the little boy nodded and took Seungmin's hand. The said boy was surprised but didn't turn the offer down. The then began to walk around the park, Seungmin didn't know who the boys brother looked like but he figured the little would obviously know. "So what's your name" Seungmin decided to start a conversation with the little boy, hopefully he didn't sound weird "m-my name is Hueningkai but people call me Kai or Hyuka" "oh, well I'll call you Hyuka, oh and I'm Seungmin you can call me minnie tho," and Kai nodded "and who exactly are we looking for?" Seungmin asked. He didn't exactly where they were going. I mean they were out the park but that's all he knew. He didn't really recognize the place much. "my brother, Jeongin" Seungmin again hummed in response. Suddenly, Kai started running, and let go of Seungmin's hand. They were in a very sketchy street. Seungmin felt out of place but mostly scared. There were drug dealers in alley ways, motorcycle gangs, tattoo shops everywhere. The boy came back to him with another boy. He looked like Seungmin's age "minnie this my brother, thank you for helping me" "hi, I'm sorry for him" Seungmin shook his head in denial "no its ok, he was lost but may I ask how he got from umm h-here to the park, the walk is pretty far" Jeongin smirked, and Seungmin gulped "don't be scared minnie this place might not be as clean and safe as the city but it isn't hell, church boy" it seems as if Jeongin had seen the cross necklace Seungmin had on. "O-oh, don't take it that way" he smiled, that smile was his first forced one. He was shitting his pants right now. Again the other boy smirked "ok well then to answer your question, we were in a motorcycle race and the little rascal left my side" then a boy came to Jeongin's side, and put his arm around the boys waist "hey baby I asked around for Hyuka but no one has seen him, maybe we should- OH YOU FOUND HYUKA!" the other boy picked the kid up and hugged him "jinnie hyung I can't breathe" "sorry sorry, but please do run off like that, we were so worried" he put the boy down and looked at Seungmin, his fun aura turning dark real fast "who's this innie" "oh this is minnie he helped Hyuka look for me" Seungmin noted that the unknown boys duality was scary, after the information he received his fun aura came back "oh! Well thank you minnie" he was getting annoyed at the nickname, I mean its not like the boys knew it wasn't his name, but he still felt annoyed at it "m-my name is not minnie its actually Seungmin" the others nodded. The said boy figured to just stay here with the others. He also learned that the tall prince like with a scary duality's name was Hyunjin.

Seungmin was now standing hand in hand with Hyuka on the sidelines of a race track. Am I insane!?!? Why the hell did I think it was a good idea to stay here!? Omg! Seungmin you're gonna die!! His mind was exploding. Was he ok? Why did he think it was a good idea to come here? He doesn't know but he had a duty,  he needed to take care of little Hyuka until Jeongin and Hyunjin finished the race. They had already started racing like five minutes ago. And they were still not done. He was getting bored so he scanned the crowd, he then stopped. He looks so familiar- OMG NO! right in front of his eyes was the one and only Chan. He quickly looked away as soon as they locked eyes. Chan smirked and walked his way "what is church boy doing in a place like this, hm?" Seungmin flinched very hard. "I- I just needed a walk" "ahhh, ok then" Chan just kept looking at him. Then a sudden voice emerged through the intercoms "ALL RACERS GET READY FOR OUR SECOND MATCH! REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PARTNER" at that moment Jeongin and Hyunjin came running to him "heyyyyy~, we won!" Seungmin smiled at and congratulated them. Chan was still there "oh hey Chan hyung, what are you doing here get ready for the race" "I don't have a partner" they were practically shouting since it was so loud there. Hyunjin and Jeongin then started to look for a partner. Time was running out, and they were getting impatient. So far everyone they asked always said "no, I'm sorry, I'm here to just watch" Chan nodded and huffed. "No one?" Jeongin shook his head, Hyunjin following pursuit. "I'm running out of time!" Chan huffed once again. Hyuka out of nowhere shouts "minnie hyung should do it then!" "No." Chan looked at him with hopeful eyes, Seungmin found it kinda weird how the man could look cute but intimidating at the same time. "I'll be careful with you I promise, plus we have helmets" he thought about it some more, what if we die or worse, get caught by the police. He internally groaned. Full of doubt, he hesitated but slowly nodded. Chan's face lit up and took his arm. They made their way to the motorcycles and Chan started searching for his. They stopped in front of a black motorcycle. Chan took out two helmets and handed one to the other boy. "Hop on and hold my waist tight" Seungmin nodded and did as he was told. Kinda awkwardly holding his waist, Chan had to speak up about it "hold it tight cause I won't go slow" and again Seungmin did as told, then he realized what the other said "didn't you just promise me you were going to be careful" Chan chuckled "I'm going to be careful but not slow, I wanna win this shit" Seungmin gasped at the bad word but just shrugged it off, all while Chan rolled his eyes at how dramatic Seungmin was. A woman, with little to no clothes, came up front and raised a flag to signal the racers to get ready. All motors started to roar, the woman then counted to three and waved the flag up and down. Chan started to ride. Seungmin's grip on his waist increased, firstly because he was scared of falling and secondly because he felt weirdly comforted by it. He was like hugging him from behind. They were second to first. Chan was giving it his all.

They were probably half way to the finish line and Chan of course was in first place. When suddenly, they hear cop sirens. "H-hyung!" "You live in the city right" "yeah" Chan took a turn, unexpected, that made Seungmin yelp. "are we going to jail?!" Seungmin yelled "first, don't yell and secondly no we're not, unless we get caught" "we did get caught!" "Technically yes, but I meant if they reach up to us" "ok" He sped through the streets. Seungmin looked behind him and saw some racers who got caught by police. He turned back to look up front and finally, after he followed little Hyuka here, he could recognize where he was. He didn't know where Chan was taking him but he somehow trusted him. "We're going to a store, ok?" "Ok" and with that Chan made his way up to a convenience store.

I'm must be crazy..... But it isn't that bad to be crazy...

I'm literally so sorry I haven't been active lately :') tomorrow is my first day of  school and me and my mom were going crazy bc of the uniforms (I'm smol so I had to take them to get fixed) so last week was hectic and I didn't have time to write. I'll probably publish two chaps for this book and the other one too. If you were wondering I'm going to ninth grade so :') I'll also try to make like a schedule or sumn to update and shit. Oh and I'm sorry for the boring chap, its a filler cause again I didn't have time :') I, however, hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. Anyways
