Peter's POV

I arrived back to the Avengers Tower to see Wanda waiting for me on the roof.

Wanda: Peter. What the hell happened?

Peter: Long story short: The Punisher kidnapped me.

Wanda: I know. Matt told me.

Peter: Look, I'm fine.

Wanda: You keep saying that. So does Matt.

I felt myself feeling guilty and looked down to the ground.

Wanda: And yet you keep getting hurt, or kidnapped or something. And I can't do anything about it.

Peter: I know, and I'm sorry. I just don't want you to get hurt.

Wanda: And I don't want you to get hurt! Don't you understand that?

Peter: I do. And I'm sorry you had to go through this. I'm really sorry for that.

Wanda walked over to me and held my hands into hers.

Wanda: Stay here.

Peter: What?

Wanda: Stay here with me. Even if it's just for a few days. Just... Be Peter, not Spider-Man.

Peter: I wish I could, but Matt needs my help and the city--

Wanda: Peter. Please. Just this once.

Peter: Okay. I'll call Matt.

Wanda: Thanks.

She leaned up to me, and kissed me.

Peter: You know I already said yes, right?

Wanda shrugged and walked downstairs, me following after I called Matt.
