"Slow your roll. Shield or no shield. The only thing you're running here is your mouth." Sam said standing up and placing himself between the two of them and Zemo. "Now, we had Karli and you overstepped. He's actually proven himself useful today. We're gunna need all hands on deck for whatever's coming next."

"How do you want the rest of this conversation to go, huh?" John asked lowly. Silence filled the room and I pushed forward when I saw Sam tense up. "Should I put the shield down make it fair?"

"You shouldn't have picked it up in the first place." I said stepping into the picture and his smug expression turned to me.

"Right, I forgot your in charge. Are you going to lecture me about how I don't deserve this shield too? Don't you think I've gotten that enough in the last week?" He asked looking down at me.

"Your still holding it." I said crossing my arms.

He looked at me coldly for a long moment as we had a staring contest. It was him who turned away first. He set the shield down next to the pillar he stood by. He stood up straight and looked right too me. I was going to speak, but an arrow flew across both of our faces and into the wall next to him. We snapped our heads around to see the Wakandan woman Bucky had mentioned.

Before I could process it all a parade of them marched it. My hands dropped to my sides and I looked to Bucky who looked defeated. They came in and looked angry as ever.

"Even if he is a means to your end... Times up." She said in her native tongue and fortunately during my time at HYDRA I was taught most languages so I understood as she spoke to Bucky. "Release him to us now."

"Hi. John Walker. Captain America." John said holding out his hand to the woman who looked anything but entertained.

"That greeting always works out for you, she's really warming up to you." I said mocking him because clearly she wasn't here for a meet and greet.

"Well let's uh, put down the pointy sticks and we can talk this through, huh?" John suggested.

"You might wanna take it easy John. You might want to actually win a fight before you take on the Dora Milaje." Sam said behind me.

"The Dora Milaje don't have jurisdiction here..." John said as if anyone here was a fan of obeying his rules.

"The Dora Milaje have jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be." She said and she wasn't wrong.

"Look I think we got off on the wrong foot." John said and I instantly saw his mistake before he could even make it.

He placed a hand on her shoulder and she did not hesitate to raise her staff. I took a step back and felt Zemo place a hand on my back. I looked to him and then back to the fighting. He had now picked up his shield and Lamar and him took on the women not so glamorously.

"Here." I heard and Bucky handed Zemo and I a drink.

I didn't second guess it and took it gladly. Zemo held out his glass to me and I clinked it before taking back the drink. It was a scotch and it definitely was strong enough to put some hair on your chest. Sam looked back at the three of us and eyed us.

"We should do something." Sam said forcefully.

"Looking strong John." Bucky yelled out and I couldn't deny I cracked a smile.

"Bucky..." Sam said and I saw him exhale. He ran out and grabbed the spear that was just about to get sent straight through John.

"Ayo, let's talk about this." He said to the woman and I had remembered he had spent sometime in Wakanda after he was found by Steve.
