He grabs my arm and pulls me back to him with both our lips colliding and finding home

I take a step back from the sudden impact and feel myself slowly walking backwards towards the door

Towering over me, he brings my arms up over my head and I willingly do so as our tongues fight for dominance. One arm holding my hands, and another cupping my cheek, I couldn't help but feel a wave of emotion run through. Oh how much I loved this man. Everything he had put me through, the pain I felt, the longing of missing him when he wasn't near, the happiness he brought me, the love he has shown me...

A small tear cant help but escape, sliding down my cheek

Oh how much I loved this man

We pull away from the kiss, both panting for air. He rests his forehead against mine but I don't open my eyes as I feel more tears pool

Cupping my cheeks, he senses something wrong and wipes away the tears with his thumb

"Alexandra?" his soft voice calls out

"I hope you know how much I love you Ace" I blurt out, opening my eyes which must have looked bloody red

Seeing the tears in my eyes, his own start to form as he turns his head to the side

He runs a hand through his hair and lets out a breath. It was my turn to wipe the tear escaping his eye as I brought my hand to his cheek

He leans into it and places a kiss on my palm

"Alex, you're my everything... I love you too" he says trying his best not to break down

Leaning in to place a kiss on my forehead, we let the silence enfold as I wrap my arms around his waist, pulling him closer to me

"why don't we shower together" Ace asks pulling away with a small smile forming on his lips

Seeing his smile, my lips immediately copy his as I nod my head

Grabbing my medication off the counter, I take a sip of my water and swallow the pills. They weren't very strong since anything else would also affect the baby. Dr. Ashley said these would only help a bit with the pain which had been working for a while. However recently, they weren't helping as much since my condition was progressively getting worse.

Feeling a little dizzy after drink the water, I hold onto the counter to balance myself

"My dear, are you alright?" Molly asks grabbing onto my shoulder to help balance myself

Feeling my vision get a bit blurry, I wait for it to focus before nodding my head 'yes'

"I'm fine Molly" I answer giving her an answer

"You don't look fine, come, take a seat" she says and guides me to the breakfast table, taking a seat on the stool

As soon as I take a seat, Ace walks in wearing a dark grey dress shirt, and black pants, ready for work.

"Ace, tell your wife that she should stay home today. She needs rest" Molly says pointing her spatula at Ace as she continued to make breakfast

"Molly you know I would if she actually listened to me from time to time" Ace says shrugging his shoulders, knowing it was never any use arguing with me when my mind was set on something

I shake my head with a smile

"I need to go today, I have so many things to finish up on and besides, what would I do at home all day anyway" I say raising a brow
