"Just leave, Won. I dont have time for you, I have so many works here. Just leave" he said and going back to work on his piles of papers. I scoffed and giving no sign to leave.
"Was it you?" I asked.
"what now?" he asked without looking at me. It made me rolled my eyes. I know he's playing dumb.
"I asked was it you that night?"
"what night? I dont know what you're tal—"
"I know you know what I mean" I cut him off. He put his pen down and looked at me.
"Look, I know it's you that night. Your car's plate"
"The country is big and everyone can have that plate, not only me" he said smirking. I sighed.
"No. I'm certainly it's you." I saw he just shaking his head at my words.
"No. It's not me." he insisted.
"Fine. It's not you. It must be another lucky man who gets to hold her in their arms so closely. What was it? uhm party? birthday party? uhm wait no, I think it's a party...." I said trying to lure him. I looked at him and saw his smiling.
"stupid. It's not a party. It's a gala night" I heard he said lowly without lifting his head. He maybe think I couldnt hear it but I still can heard it. I smile to myself. So it is him.
"It is you" I said and he looked back at me. "I've said it, it's not me" he said while I just smile. "Oh really? then how you know that it's a gala night and not a party?" I asked back smugly.
"Well, he's our business partner and he also sent me the invitation. So of course I know" he said but then realized what he said and turning his back on me. A smile never leave my mouth.
"Oh so you got the invitation..."
"Just leave. I'm busy"
"I wont leave until you admit that it's you."
"I've said it's not me! Now leave before I get the security." he then abruptly stand and point to the door.
"Just leave her alone" what was all I said and I can see a glimpse of fear on passed his face. A fear of losing her. He didnt answered me but went back to continue doing his works.
"She's hurted enough and I dont want you to hurt her anymore. She's already fine by herself."
"she's already fine by herself or fine with you?" he asked while scoffing and looking at me. He try to get on my nerves now.
"You can say both. Well it's good that now you know, so leave her alone" smirking while I said it but it doesnt last long with what he said next
"What if I said, I want her back?" he asked with a challenging look plastered on his face.
"Dont you hear what I said? Just.Leave.Her.Alone." I sternly said but he just laughed it off.
"I'm sorry but seems like I cant do that. I'm her husband, not you" he said clasping his hand together on the table while smirking. What he said made me shocked. Does he have selective memory?
"She's not your wife anymore! You both have divorce. Did you forget?!" I asked filled with raged and he looked at me with the same raged.
"I didnt signed it! So I am still her husband" he said and made me widen my eyes. He what??!
"what?! what do you mean you didnt signed it?" I asked and he looked like he's looking for something. Just then he threw me an envelope. I looked at him and he just looked at me.
I opened the envelope and pulled the document out.
'Divorcement agreement'
I looked at the name, Park Eunjin. She already put down her signed. I then looked at the other side, Yoon Jeonghan. I looked down and it's empty. There's no signature there not even a dot. I looked back at him but he already had his back on me.
"is this fake?" I asked curiously.
"No. It's the original copy." he stated that made me mad and shocked.
"but..I..I thought...you.."
"you thought..,no. Everyone thought I signed it but no. I didnt." he said looking out to the window. I put back the document in the envelope and sighed.
"Why? why you didnt signed it?" I asked but he asked back
"Why? did you want me to sign it that much so that you can have her?" my hand balled into a fist after hearing his question.
"No. That's not what I mean. Jeonghan, you've hurted her enough! You played her, you wronged her many times, you dont even treated her as she should and even accused her a murder?? murder?? did you think you worth her after all have you done? No. You don't deserves her at all! Just let her go."
"It's not your decision to decide that. And you think you've worth enough just because you're always with her?" he scoffed.
"What if I say yes? I bet she must be thinking the same too.." I challenged him and I saw anger filled his eyes.
"Just leave her alone. She's more happy without you. Let her have her own happiness." I said for the last time.
"We'll see about that. Now leave" he said walking back to his table.
"I'm serious Jeonghan. Leave her alone"
"and I'm serious too. You know me. What I want, I'll get it and no matter how hard it is and no one can ever stop me." He sternly said and I can see the glimpse of seriousness in his eyes. I gave him last glared before leaving his office.
I'm now in the car thinking on what happened. I can't believe he didnt signed it. Why would he gave the document if he, himself didnt want to sign it? He just want to play her? Whatever it is, I can't let Eunjin know. I maybe silent before but not now. Not when everything's already fine without him. And it's for her own good. I then drove away and back to my office.
most importantly I can't let him have her back.
