"It's okay... really! Chat, you're not alone. If anything, I love you!" I began to shout. His face dropped, but he managed to smile lightly until it faded away in seconds. It wasn't enough...

With tears in my eyes, I held his cheek in my hand and pulled his face closer to mine. I slowly leaned into him until our lips had finally collided, causing a massive explosion in my heart. I felt my bloodstream heat up from head to toe. I've been craving for a moment like this, except this time, it was only to save the love of my life. My only option was to hope for the next kiss... which could be years from now or never. Regardless, I'm as hopeful... as always.

"Ladybug? What happened?" Chat asked, puzzled at the sight of my dried up tears.

"A-An arrow. Got shot. Sad," I stammered, struggling to find the correct words. "I mean— You were shot by one of Rejectifier's arrows and you were unconscious."

"Fuck. Are you alright though? M'lady?" he asked again. I stared down at his lips, mesmerized by the thought of us kissing until I remembered we were in the middle of an attack.

"Shit. Sorry. I'm— Watch out!!" I shouted at the sight of an arrow which nearly hit us. We quickly dodged the arrow and hid behind a building. "Okay, here's the plan. We need to trap that flying brat with this," I said, holding up the jar of honey. "I'm sorry, but you're gonna be the bait."

"Awh, again?" He wined with a pout, which caused me to giggle.

"Yup. I'll purposely give you up. According to her plan earlier, we would team up, and you'd become hopeless. But, according to our plan, you'll take care of her once she has held you captive. With my yo-yo and the honey in hand, you'll be able to tie it around her bow and pour the honey underneath her feet which should hold her in place. Toss back my yo-yo, and everything will be taken care of. Got it?" I explained thoroughly.

"Got it. No wonder I trust you this much," he replied with a wink and smile. I felt my face burn up, but I had to concentrate and push aside my feelings.

Chat left my side once again, in search for the akumatized villain, as I followed behind until we finally found her. He rushed back, and we began to put on our act, as I dragged him out towards Rejectifier.

"Hey, Cupid! I've thought about it... and I think we should team up," I said with a death stare.

"Oh? But I thought he was already unconscious—"

"Actually, no. He faked it," I interrupted, as I pulled Chat up from his collared-bell. "I've decided... he should be punished after all he did to me."

"Well, well, well. Looks like someone has finally come to their senses!" she cackled.

"Here," I finally said, as I threw Chat Noir down towards her feet.

  The villain stepped over my partner's back with her pointy heels, trapping him underneath her. Without making it obvious, I stared down to make sure Chat was capable of tying my yo-yo around Rejectifier's bow. To my relief, he had already tied it and had moved onto step two.

"So would you like to do the honors, and put him to his misery?" Rejectifier asked with an evil grin.

"I'd love to... but you must step back. I want him to make a run for it— It would be way more fun, don't ya' think?" I said, in an attempt to persuade her.

"Very well," she replied, stepping off Chat's back. I slowly approached the villain until I was tossed the yo-yo, which instantly landed right into my hands. Rejectifier panicked at the sight of me tugging on the string, which caused her to react quickly and pull herself back with her bow. Luckily, my very handsome partner had stuck her feet in place, which also meant that even a small push would loosen her grip. Chat Noir did exactly that.
