"I can't, Hawk Moth! They look so... in love. They can't possibly be pulled away from each other!" Rejectifier said, as she held back the urge to fire the arrow. We had the villain distracted; this was our chance.

"Now!" I signaled my partner, as Ladybug swung her yo-yo around the villain's foot. She quickly tugged onto the string of the yo-yo and pulled down Rejectifier within seconds. The force of the pull was strong enough to loosen the villain's grip, causing the bow to fall out of her hands.

While Ladybug held down the villain, I chased after the bow which was soaring through the air in an opposite direction. Just as I was about to say Cataclysm, a pointy arrow had shot right through my back, causing me to fall on my knees and become drowsy.

"Kitty!" I heard Ladybug shout in distress. My hearing was so faded, it was almost impossible to make out the words which came from her mouth. Suddenly my vision became blurry, causing me to see large blobs in front of me. For some reason, everything felt unreachable... I felt unreachable. My mind kept spinning, along with a voice which kept telling me, "Everyone pushed you away, the exact way you pushed others. You're alone and hopeless."

"Help me, M'lady," I managed to say, as I felt completely hopeless and alone. I looked up at the bluenette with my teary emerald eyes, as she ran towards me in seconds; it was as if the entire akumatization had been forgotten because Ladybug let go of the villain's leg and immediately paid attention to me.

"It's okay. You're going to be okay, Kitty!" she cried, pausing at the sight of me being unconscious. "What are you feeling?" she asked, hoping for my delayed response.

"I-I'm sorry for hurting you. I deserve to feel alone and hopeless... not you," I struggled to reply, as she held my hand in her tight grip.

"No. No. No. Rejectifier, you're gonna pay for this!" Ladybug shouted with a furious tone, as she sauntered towards the villain. "Lucky Charm!"

A bright pink color flashed before our eyes, leaving behind a jar of honey. Suddenly, my partner looked around until she laid eyes back on me, signaling that she had thought of a plan. I trusted Ladybug more than anything, which was why I knew that she'd help bring me back. Now, more than ever, I had to remain positive.

Marinette's POV:

Watching my poor Kitty filled with guilt, tore me to pieces. And even though he felt hopeless and alone, I wanted to prove to him that he wasn't. If there were some way I could reverse— Wait. Maybe there is... It was a little late to find Chloe, this way she'd turn into Queen Bee and use her venom power and freeze the villain in place, so I had to improvise.

I took my Lucky Charm, which was a jar of honey and used it as the key to saving Paris and the love of my life. Within seconds, I had planned on using the jar of honey as a fly trap, big enough to trap a flying villain like Rejectifier. I stared back at Chat with comforting eyes, hoping for the plan to work, as I made my way to a narrow alley nearby.

"Hey, flying moth! Weren't you gonna pick on someone of your own species? Come and get me!" I shouted with a smirk, in an attempt to lead the villain away from my partner. I quickly ran off into the darkness, as she chased behind me. Before the villain could notice, I hid behind a corner and waited until she got further away, this way I could get back to Chat Noir and help him up.

Once the villain was out of sight, I used my yo-yo to swing myself back to where my kitty was, hoping he was doing better.

"Kitty! How are you feeling?" I asked him, as I pulled his head up onto my lap.

"I'm sorry for hurting you," he continued to say. Why does he keep saying that!? I'm sure there is some way of reversing the spell, but I wasn't sure how.
