Chapter thirty-''I love you more, Mikasa''

''What?''

Mikasa looked at you with pure hurt and tears in her eyes. You stared into her eyes and waited for some form of explanation

''I-I.....Don't feel...I don't feel anything anymore! No love, no passion, no anything!'' Mikasa said as a tear fell down her face

You took her into a big and tight hug

''Why didn't you tell me?'' You asked 

''Because we both are trying to ignore these feelings'' She said 

''Why?'' 

''Because we have been together for so long and imagine if we just suddenly would break up! Our mothers have been nagging us for both a marriage and children.'' She said 

''But, what's the point in living with someone if you don't love them?'' 

''I don't know, Y/n!'' Mikasa said clearly upset 

Levi's pov

❝Oh be careful with what you say buddy because that can determine your future❞

''I don't know. In a way, I love them both. With Y/n I can be myself but I didn't want to hurt Mikasa and imagine if I left her for her best friend'' Jean said still looking down 

''I mean, if you like her, you like her. You can't really do anything about it'' 

''I feel like I would've betrayed Mikasa then'' Jean said 

❝Well at least he has some sort of a clear mind❞

''Have you ever been betrayed, Levi?'' Jean asked now looking at me 

I sighed 

''Yeah''

''By who?'' Jean asked 

I looked at him and his eyes seemed so.....desperate

''By my ex-girlfriend'' 

''What happened?'' Jean asked 

''She....Well, used me for personal good and then hung herself in my apartment'' 

''Jesus Christ'' I heard Jean mumble under his breath 

''The worst was that I was so mad at her for not coming to the restaurant, where I was supposed to propose to her''

I let myself fall into the river of flashbacks and relived that moment again

''I walked in and saw her hanging, with a letter beside her. I don't want to go into depths about what was in it but she didn't love me and hated me'' 

Jean looked down to his lap again 

''She wanted me dead''

''And she was pregnant with my kid'' 

Then the silence came 

The uncomfortable silence

''But it's okay now'' I said 

''I have Y/n now''  I said smiling 

''Yeah, yeah you do'' Jean said as he smiled back at me 

''You know, we should go for a beer sometime'' Jean said

''O-Oh, yeah, sure'' 

''How about tonight?'' Jean asked 

''Sure'' I said as I smiled back at him

You saw that Mikasa was clearly upset so you touched her shoulder and leaned in closer to her

''Hey, I'm sorry. I know this is a lot of stress on you'' You said softly as you pressed your cheek against her shoulder 

''I'm sorry too. I never want to hurt you'' She said as she turned to you and cupped  your cheek 

''I love you, Y/n'' Mikasa said looking into your eyes 

You smiled 

''I love you more, Mikasa'' 

Levi's pov

''Jesus, they aren't out yet?'' Jean said looking around the sauna area 

''I guess so'' I said sighing 

''How can you stay in a sauna for so long?'' Jean asked 

''Well, we were relaxing, which is what we are supposed to do'' Y/n said 

I turned around and saw Y/n and Mikasa who had reddish eyes, which meant that either she was high or she had been crying 

I'm guessing the other option 

''Oh, we thought that maybe you had passed out and you needed our saving'' Jean said smiling

''Aren't you our heroes'' Y/n said 

''I'm getting kind of tired, do you guys want to continue or...'' I spoke up 

''I and Mikasa were just talking about it! We're kind of tired'' Y/n said looking into my eyes

''Agreed! I and Levi are planing on a boys night tonight, so sorry ladies'' Jean said as he put his arm around my shoulder 

''Oh are you'' Y/n said looking at me in surprise

I looked at Y/n with those ''Yeah, but don't laugh about me'' eyes and she chuckled 

''Well if you're having a boy's night, I and Mikasa will have a girl's night!''
