Rosé's POV

There was a knock on the door

I closed my laptop and went to open it

"Ryujin?"I said

"Hi mom sorry to bother"she said and gave me a hug

But its not a quick hug

It feels like she doesnt wanna let go

"Is there something wrong honey?"I asked softly and patted her back

"Can we stay here for a while?"she asked

I smiled

"Of course,do you want to talk about it?"I asked

I already know something is wrong

First Yeji is not here

Second my daughters tone

It has a hint of sadness and pain

"Can I bring the kids upstairs first?"she asked

I nodded and let go of our hug

Ryujin's POV

I went upstairs with Sungjin and Hyujin

"Hyujin sit down in your bed please"I said

He nodded and slowly went to his bed

"Go play baby"I said and kissed my son's forehead before sitting diwn beside Hyujin

I brought my med kit out of my bag

"Where does it hurt?"I asked as I fixed his hair

"Im fine mommy"he replied

I sighed

"No youre not"I said

I poured some povidone-iodine on a cotton ball and applied it to his cuts

"You know being gay is fine"I said

"Im not a freak"he replied

"Does that make Grandma Rosé,Granny Irene,Mama Chaeryeong,Dada Lia,Uncle Lee Know,Uncle Jisung,me and your mom a freak?"I said

He quickly looked at me and shook his head

I smiled

"Well...we're the same genders thats inlove with each other,in short,gays"I replied

"You love Mom but you fought with her earlier...."he said softly

I  sighed and caressed his cheeks

"Its ok if youre still confused"I said completely ignoring his sentence

"H-He makes my heart ache Mommy..."he said with out looking at me

"Xinlong...."he continued

I smiled

"Im glad you told me about this Hyujin..perhaps you like Xinlong....whats stopping you?"I asked

"You...,Mommy...and Sungjin"he replied

"Why?"I asked

"I dont want you guys to be disappointed in me....and I dont want Sungjin to be bullied for having a gay brother..."he replied

I smiled

"Hwang Hyujin"I said and knelt infront of him

"You aunts,uncles,grandmothers,and mothers are gay,what made you think we wont accept you?,about the bullying,dont even bother about them,we went through that,just be there for your brother no matter what happens ok?"I said

He smiled and nodded

"Im proud of you"I said and pulled him for a hug

"Thank you mommy"he said and hugged me back

"Now take some rest ok?"I said

"Will you make up with Mom?"he asked

I gave him a weak smile

"Im sure we will...its just a little arguement"I replied

He nodded

I went downstairs to see my mom waiting for me

She opened her arms and I smiled before hugging her

"What happened"she asked

"Yeji....opened up a topic I dont want to recall"I said

"Cheating?"she asked

I nodded

"She thinks I plan on cheating on her like...what she did back then..."I said

"She's just scared Ryujin.....we cant blame her...."she replied

"When will I understand her mom....I've been understanding her since highschool"I sobbed

"Well...do you want to lose her?"she asked

I shook my head and tighten my hug

"You know....I was a player myself...."she replied

"But when your mommy came to my life....I decided to date her.....I was still knocking other guys and girls down while dating her...but she decided to understand my situation.....thats when I forced my self to change for her....Im afraid she might cheat on me.....but she told me to trust her....and I did....and now look us...happy"she replied

"Thats the problem mom....I feel like she doesnt trust me..."I replied

"Try to talk to her......should I call her?"she replied

I gulped

"Please...."I ended up saying

I felt my mother nodded

"I'll talk to her,then you talk to her,ok?"she said

I nodded
