5 months later

Ryujin's  POV

For the last 5 months Soobin has been rejecting my request to sign the divorce papers and his father had enough of it

We're currently at their house to talk

"Both of you already know why I called you here"dad said

I'm with Subgjin and he's currently sitting beside me while Soobin sat across us

"Yes to fix things-"

"For Soobin to sign the divorce papers"Dad cutted mom's sentence

"Hon-"

"Shut up!"dad said

Soobin chuckled

"Im not doing this again"Soobin said and stood up ready to leave

I quickly stood up and called him

"Oppa"I said making him freeze on his spot

"What happened to you"I said tears starting to form in my eyes

"Me?Im nit the one whos trying to ruin our family"he said and looked at me

"Youre mean"Sungjin said standing up to hold my hand

"Daddy hurts mommy everyday,everyday our family is already ruined,daddy makes kommy cry all night,daddy hits mommys face,when daddy comes home drunk hes always mad at mommy"Sungjin said angrily at his father

"Sungjin you dont understand"Soobin said

"No!I comepletely understand!mommy wants to leave daddy but daddy wont let her!mommy wants to be happy again but daddy wont let her!mommy wants to be free but daddy wont let her!"Sungjin started shouting angrily at Soobin

"Why does daddy want to keep mommy sad everyday,why wont daddy let mommy happy,why does daddy keep trying to be with mommy when all daddy did was hurt her"Sungjin said

Soobin's POV

All of my son's wprd hit me like a rock

Why wont I let Ryujin happy?

Why wont I let her go?

Why do I keep pushing my self to her even if I already know from the very start her heart belongs to someone else

"Oppa"Ryujin brought me back to reality

I looked at her

Hugging our son

Tears falling from her eyes

"Im going to ask you the same question I asked.....what will a princess do if her own knight is the one whos hurting her"she asked with pain in her voice

I used to treat her as my princess...

"Eomma mianhae hajima!"I heard Ryujin begged

The other students are just filming her while Jeno laughed as he hit the metal door repeatedly

"Yah!"I shouted and attacked him managing to push him on the door

"Aish you idiot!"Jeno said and stood up

"Mind your fucking business Choi"Jeno warned

"She is my business so leave her alone"I said

"Ryujin fainted oppa"Chaeryeong said

"What?"I asked and ran

When we reached the Gym I saw Ryujin on Beomgyu's arms

I ran beside them and checked her temperature

"Did she ate lunch?"I asked

"No hyung"Beomgyu replied

"Aish she probably didnt ate breakfast too"I said

Ryujin groaned and she was sweating hard

"Make her sit"I told Beomgyu and he nodded

I removed Ryujin's coat and give it to Chaeryeong then I carried Ryujin in my arms and brought her to the clinic

When I heard the loud bang Ryujin immediately entered my mind

I stood up and ran to their table

"M-Mom....M-Mianhae..."Ryujin sobbed shakingly

Beomgyu was about to hug her but I pushed him away

I then removed my coat and covered her head with it

"Ryujinah...."Chaeryeong worriedly said as she tried to comfort her bestfriend

"Jinnie,its ok Oppa is here"I said and I held her shoulders

She looked at me with red eyes and scared expression

"Oppa....dont let Mom hurt me please....Im scared"she begged and hugged me

"Its alright Jinnie...I wont let that happen again"I said softly and hugged her back

I used to protect her

I used to handle her like she's the most presious gem to me

But now....

Im the cause of her pain...her tears

What happened to me....

Love has blinded me...

I looked at her

"Oppa-"

"You leave him"I said cutting her sentence

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes

"If he's the reason why youre hurt then leave him"I said against my will

But I have to

I have to let her go

I've put her through hell for 11 years...

Its time to give her freedom...

I looked at tge divorce papers on the table

I sighed and leaned down and signed

I felt a pang of pain in my chest when I finally finished signing the papers

For the last time

I looked at my wife

She's crying

She ran to me and hugged me

Thats when I broke

Sobbed and hugged her back

"Thank you...Oppa..."she whispered

I gasped for air and continued crying on her shoulders

"Im sorry princess....Im giving you your freedom....Im sorry for everything"I said

She nodded

I looked at our son

"Hey buddy"I said

He looked at me

"Take care of mommy for me?"I said as I knelt infront of him

He nodded with tears in his eyes

"Thank ypu for letting her go daddy..."he said

I smiled

"Thank you for making daddy realize how wrong he is"I said and patted his shoulder

He smiled and hugged me

"I love you daddy...but you have to let mommy go"he said

My tears started falling again

"I love you too buddy"I said and patted his head

Im in pain

But I know to my self

That this time

I made the right choice
