Annika gasped when her foot slipped from the rock all of a sudden. She leaned backwards in the air. Shivaay catches her hand to pull. If he could not hold her on the right time she has fallen into the sea. She lands on his chest locking their eyes. her breaths were heavy due to the sudden fall. His breath has gotten uneven when saw her falling.

Annika managed to break the eye lock after few moments.

S: Are.. You ok?

A: don't care for me
Annika whispered near his ear to not let it audible to Arun.

S: you are my responsibility. That's it
He whispered back

'I knew' she scoffed in thoughts

Ar: guysss....
arun's shout pulls them apart.

A: what??
She asks annoyed

Ar: I am calling you both for a while but you were in your own world without paying any attention to me. Continue your romance in your room.
He was a bit annoyed. He looks at Anika and asks with concern
' you are ok na'

A: A.....
Before she could say something, shivaay held her hand and pulled her with him. He was walking faster. Anger was visible on his face. Annika looks at their hands and Arun from back to back. Arun ran behind them before blocking shivaay's way.

Ar: what the hell is this shivaay. I am talking to her. What's wrong with you?

S: too much of your drama arun. Just move. We are going
He was angry

Ar: why?

S: it's only because of you she fell from there. What is the need for clicking selfies? What if she had fallen then
He had raised his voice. This anger, is it because he cares for her or does he consider her as his responsibility only?

Ar: I am sorry. It was unintentional. I just wanna talk with my friend
By saying this he pulled Annika from shivaay's grip. Shivaay holds her hand again
'She is MY friend'
Arun says trying to show his right on annika

S: she is my WIFE
Shivaay said before walks ahead with annika.

As soon as shivaay stopped the car in front of Oberoi mansion, Annika gets down from the car and walks inside without waiting for shivaay. She stood at the door when noticed the whole family members in the hall. She walked with shivaay when he reached there. But nothing spoke. Her face was stern while he was calm, a usual thing

P: did you both eat anything?

A: no
Annika replies politely

P: we also haven't eaten yet. We can....
Pinky had started her non-stop talk. But she took a break when her gaze fell on her son's hand.
'Shivaay.... What happened to your hand?' She asks worriedly while getting up from the sofa

Flashes of morning incident played in shivika's mind. The atmosphere was silent for a moment before shivaay breaks it
S: wo.. Mom.. It's a small cut. I hadn't noticed it. Annika insisted me to banded when she saw it. Not much big as it looks

He says looking at his bandaged palm. Annika looked at him with a quick turn. She is frowning. Shivaay winks at her when saw her frowning. Annika could do or say nothing but take her gaze from shivaay.

Next morning

Annika is lying on her stomach, while shivaay lies on back. Their bodies were brushing against each other.  Annika's mouth was slightly opened and her soft lips pressing against shivaay's shoulder. Her left hand resting under her chin, sticking with his left hand. Annika was the one who woke up first. Her sight caught half of his face and his neck. She pulls back her body immediately when noticed it sticking with him. She sits on the bed for a moment and stared at her husband's sleeping face. Her mind was not blank. There were numerous thoughts. 'you are my responsibility. That's it' his words rang in her ears. 'Love and care' she thinks and scoffed
'That's just a dream in your life' her mind voiced. She sighed before getting up from the bed to freshen up. She grabs a kurti from the cupboard before walking towards the washroom. She doesn't want to argue with him like they did yesterday. That's not because she doesn't like to argue with him. She knew creating baseless drama is just a waste of time. At last, He will get what he wants. Nevertheless, she was determined to get what she wants. That was 'divorce. A separation from him forever. She wants in at any cost. No one should love her, she can't love them back. No one should like her, she can't like them beck except her dad. She loves her dad, she likes Arun. That's it. Even Soumya & Ragini doesn't have a good place in her heart. According to her, their friendship is not a genuine one. Just pass of time.
