Chapter 16

Rose:

{of course accompanied by some fabulous heels and her Cullen crest necklace. you can imagine whatever ones you like}

We decided on McDonald's for lunch after getting some new clothes at the mall. All I got was a new dress. She got a bunch of stuff. Clothes, jewelry, shoes, hats, bags. It was crazy. I wonder how she's gonna get all this home.

At McDonald's, Rose got the chicken nugget meal. I got a Big Mac and a parfait. We sat down to wait for our food. Rose started telling me about the things Bella did while I was gone.

"First of all," she started. "She seems kind of obsessed with you. She was constantly asking where you were, when were you going to be home, who was with you, why would you leave your kids, blah blah blah. I just ignored her. She seems to think that you are trying to steal us away from her, which is ridiculous because you were here first and nobody likes her. That's something we have all made clear. Except for Edward." She stopped talking to go get the food. When she sat back down, she continued. "He just can't let go of her. It's gonna hurt us and her if he doesn't stop. We got attacked. There were three nomads in the area. They were killing people, one of them your uncles friend Waylon, and they caught our scent. We were getting ready to play baseball when they heard us. The wind blew Bella's scent right into their faces. The tracker, James, became obsessed with finding her. She had to get out of town. She had to break Charlie's heart so he would let her go, I get that, but she didn't have to say the exact same thing Renee told him when she left. That was too far. But anyway. Esme and Carlisle took her to Arizona while the rest of us stayed and tried to stop James. He figured out that Bella wasn't here and went to go find her. He tricked her into going to her old ballet studio. She was attacked and bit. Edward was there to stop her from turning though. He sucked the venom out. He almost didn't stop. She ended up in the hospital with a broken leg. We are dangerous for her just as she isn't good for us. Edward knows this but refuses to do anything about it. He needs something to make him realize Bella isn't good for us and that we aren't good for her either." I could tell she was frustrated with her surrogate brother. I am too. He almost got my cousin killed. He almost got all of them killed. If the Volturi finds out about this, anyone who knows is in danger. Maybe I should let him in, let him see who Bella really is, how she treats me.

"What if I said I had somethin that might knock some sense into him," I said. "Should I do it?" Rose nodded eagerly, urging me to explain. "I've been blockin my thoughts of Bella from Edward. He seemed to care about her so much. I didn't want to ruin that. However, if I have to do this to save my family, I will. Bella is a toxic bitch, for lack of a better name. Our entire lives, she's always treated me like the scum of the earth. When she first got here this year, she said Charlie only gave me two cars because I was raped. She's said things like this our entire lives. Sometimes it gets physical. When we were seven, I got a present because it was my birthday. It just so happened to be a really cool CD player with a bunch of CD's of my favorite musicians. Bella wanted it. She got angry when she was told no, that it was my birthday present. When the adults left, she broke all my CD's and threw them at me. I got cuts all over my face. Charlie came in, hearin me cry. He's known ever since then how evil Bella really is. He didn't want her comin here but Renee forced him. There has been several other occasions like this, too." By the time I finished, Rose was fuming. I could practically see the steam coming from her ears.

     "Let my brother see it," she said. "We need her out of our lives."

     "What would we do after getting rid of her?" I asked. "She could blab to someone. Then all of us would be killed."

     "I don't know," she replied. "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Let's go home now." She was right. It was a little later then we planned to stay out.

     When we got back to the hotel, Jasper was taking a nap with the girls in our room. Emmett was watching some sports channel. I decided to go lay down with Jaz and the girls to rest. I was exhausted from the emotional stress of this morning and walking all over the mall.

When I woke up, it was already six. Jaz wanted me to make a boneless prime rib roast for dinner. It was his favorite before he was turned during the Civil War. After we were done eating, we bathed the girls and went to bed.

{you know, when I explain what happened to Bella in the twilight movie like this, it seems a lot less exciting than it seemed when I watched it lol. no? just me? okay. anyway, I was in a hurry to post this so please let me know of any mistakes. sorry for not updating in a while}
