Chapter 10

1 year later:

Beam's pov:

"Papa!!!" Iris and Ivy ran into the house. 

I chuckled and knelt just in time for them to jump into my arms. 

"Welcome home princesses." I kissed their cheeks. 

They giggled and kissed my cheeks as well. 

"How was school?" I stood up holding them in my arms. 

"We had lots of fun!" They squealed. 

"That's great to hear. Did you make lots of friends?" I went and sat down on the couch with them on my lap. 

"Yup! Lots of friends!" They nodded vigorously. 

I smiled warmly. "I'm very happy to hear that." 

Joon came and sat down beside us. 

"But the teacher said you were a little too talkative. Even during learning time." He raised an eyebrow. 

 I looked at Iris and Ivy. 

"We were so excited to meet new friends..." They looked down and muttered. 

"It's very exciting to meet new people and make new friends. But you need to listen when the teacher is teaching. You can talk to your friends during free time and playtime. But you should listen and try to learn new things when you go to school. Not only make friends ok?" I explained gently. 

They nodded obediently. 

"We won't disturb when teacher is teaching. Only raise hands to tell important things." They said at the same time. 

"Yup. Be good from now on ok?" Joong patted their heads. 

They nodded again. 

"Now, we're going to go to Daddy's company to give him a surprise for tea time." I straightened up. 

They lit up instantly. 

"Surprise?!" 

"Yup. First, let's get you two freshened up. Then we'll go." Joong took Ivy and I stood up with iris in my arms. 

We went to their bedroom and helped them get freshened up before changing.

We grabbed the snacks I had already packed before they came. 

We got into my car and started driving to Tae's company. 

He's earned a lot of praise from the people in his company for handling the branch excellently and efficiently. 

We pulled up in the parking lot of the company in 10 minutes. 

"Hello Khum Beam, Khum Joong, Khun Iris and Ivy." The receptionist greeted us as we went inside. 

"Hello!" Iris and Ivy greeted her back enthusiastically. 

She smiled warmly and waved at them as we headed to the elevator.

"Will daddy be busy right now?" Ivy asked. 

"No. I already texted p'Ron. He said he has a break at this time for 2 hours." Joong answered before I could say anything. 

They smiled widely. 

"So we can spend time with daddy for a while!" 

"Yup." Joong and I chuckled. 

Tae has been really busy with work and has barely had time to spend with us. 

We know Iris and Ivy miss him so we decided to arrange this small surprise without distracting him from work.
