Tears flowed down Adrien's cheeks as he held marinette in his arms,The joy he had felt when he saw his mother again had disappeared. Now all he felt was sorrow, devastation and guilt.
The sorrow and devastation were soon replaced by anger at his father. It was his father that had lied to him and hence spurred him on but the entire blame wasn't to be on his father. He could have refused and run away but he didn't so the guilt still lingered.
Then it came to him. He could make a wish using the ladybug and black cat miraculous. He could wish for marinette to wake up! This prospect filled him with hope and he immediately started looking for the respective jewellery. However to his dismay he never found them.
He was baffled for a while but then he realised that he couldn't see the kwamis either. After he noticed this fact all the pieces clicked into place and he let out a horrible scream of anguish.
It was then that Emilie approached him silently and sat next to him. He saw her and said, " I had learned to live without you mom but only after an year of suffering."
"In this time I had nobody except my friends to support me. Father was never there for me but she was both as a civilian and a hero. I can't lose her so please don't stop me but even if you do; know that I won't listen. I NEED HER!" Finished adrien as he wiped his tears.
There was silence for a while until emilie broke it by saying, " I won't stop you but please let me help you. I can't see you like this." Adrien it seemed hadn't heard her for he hadn't answered but had already started walking holding marinette bridal style.
He took her to his bedroom and tenderly placed her on a couch, then walked to his father's study. His mother followed him the entire way . He knocked on the door and was told to come in by his father's cold voice.
As soon as he entered his father asked him, " did you complete the task?" He nodded his head and asked his mom to come in . His mom entered . Gabriel on seeing her smiled and rushed to hug her. Adrien stood apart with a fake smile on his face.
Once his parent's tearful reunion was over he asked his dad," it's time for you to hand over your miraculous to me, Father." Gabriel wiped a few stray tears of joy from his eyes and
opened the secret passageway, took out the Miraculous and gave them to adrien. Adrien took the Miraculous ,walked out and headed Back to his room.
Another Agreste had been consumed by darkness because of losing his one true love. It seems that if an Agreste falls he falls hard and will do anything for that person. This Agreste though young truly did love her.
