I mean, I didn't mean to have a crush on you. This was never supposed to happen.

You'd call me everyday without fail, buy me my favorite food and the coffee I need every morning. You helped me with my studies. Listened to my rants like my personal diary and I listened to yours.

I tried my best to treat you like how you treat me, I really did. I just never knew one day you would just start talking about another girl. About how beautiful, smart, kind, sweet she is.

We don't call as often now, I'm just a distraction. I see you walk hand in hand with her at school, I see how happy you are, I see how your eyes sparkle whenever you look at her and the smile you put on, one I have never seen before. All this while you have seen me as a friend, I've seen you as more. I looked at my phone, where my call was once again declined.
