^^ Step one, wrap the tie around your neck, but make sure the thicker side is longer than the skinnier side.

^^ Wrap it around again, making sure that the thicker piece is behind the thinner piece. Note the area at my neck where part of the tie is crossing over the other part? You need to keep that there. You'll see why.

^^ Tuck the thicker piece of the tie trough the gap below your neck.
