"yeah sorry got grounded but I'm fine... guys this is Benjamin" Madelyn said introducing them they shook hands and Kie pulled her away to talk, "so Benjamin?" Kie said smirking. Madelyn's cheeks started turning red and she looked over to him as he was talking with Pope.

"yeah he is my old boyfriend from the school... I'm sorry I didn't tell you about him i was just scared it would hurt if I did he was always so kind and sweet" Madelyn looked back at the girl and she gave her a big hug.

"you didn't have to hide it you know... but anyway are you guys back together?" Kie asked Madelyn smiled imagining what that would be like and looked down and up again, "no but he did take me out on a date before we came and Topper actually likes him which scared me at first because he hates guys that go out with me but I don't even know how i feel about Jj"

she sighs and Kie sits down on a bench and Madelyn follows, "look Jj is dumb, stupid, annoying but he also told me what happened at the station... I think just live in the moment and see what happened with Ben maybe it will turn out all good and you and Jj can just be friends" Madelyn gave a soft smile and Ben walked over to the girls sitting next to Madelyn wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

the night goes smoothly and Madelyn walks over to Topper and Rafe with Ben to see if he is ok. she thought that Sarah would be walking in with him but she never saw her with Topper normally just alone.

"hey Topper" Madelyn smiled not looking at Rafe, "you ok I though Sarah was walking in with you?" Topper sighs and looks at his little sister with a smile, "hey don't worry about me you and Ben go have fun" he gave her a hug and they went off to dance. 

a familiar voice is heard and Madelyn looks behind her and sees Jj they lock eyes and she quickly turns around to face Ben, he was confused and looked over to see a men with dirty blonde hair walking through the party.

Sarah and Madelyn dance together while Ben went off and was hanging out with Topper a little bit to get to know him and his friends better since he is moving to the island, Madelyn feels a body behind her and they swing her around by her hips slowly dancing with her, "hey Maddie" Jj said softy and handed Sarah the note nodding towards her then looking back at Madelyn.

"you look beautiful tonight" he said and she was speechless not knowing what to say, "JJ are you ok?" she looks at his face and he sighs".

"I'm fine princess... who is the guy your with?" he asks and a body goes behind him and he turns around looking at him face to face, "her boyfriend" Madelyn didn't know how to feel was she really dating him she started getting butterflies of how protective they both were to her and then other figures came behind them.

Topper and Rafe glared at Jj, "come on guys I was just dancing with this beautiful princess" he winked at her and Topper punched him in the face, Ben tried to stop him he was never a person to fight unless someone he cared about got hurt. Madelyn didn't like seeing him fight at the boarding school it scared her but she felt safer because of it.

he finally got the two apart and Jj was told to leave them alone, Madelyn and Ben looked at each other and he gave her a hug, "can we talk?" she nodded and they walked away to somewhere private.

"it obvious there was something between you guys and if I came and you guys were dating i don't-" Madelyn held her finger to his lips and smiled, "nothing was going on between me and Jj were just... friends" Madelyn said and her smile fell but Ben didn't notice he gave her a kiss on her lips and they went out dancing again.

after ten minutes Jj was escorted out of the building and met up with John b, "captain" Jj said standing tall facing him, "mission accomplished, sir" John b said copying what Jj was doing.

Pope and Kie ran after them and Jj spun Kie around and he stayed looking at Madelyn, "come on Princess" he said waiting for her she looked down and sighed looking up at him with tear falling down, his face falls from his smile and he went to walk to her but she shook her head running out of the party with Benjamin and Topper following her.

Madelyn looked up at the night sky floating in the pool, she wonders what the Pogues think of her now after she ran away from Jj. she has always been scared of disappointing people and the hating her.

she closed her eyes and a figure stood beside her and then started floating next to her, "hey Benny" she said still looking at the sky, "hey Mads" he said softly as she stood up standing him up as well.

"i'm sorry about tonight i just got in my head and everything happened" Madelyn looked down and he tilted her head looking at her beautiful brown eyes, "it's ok Madelyn i know there was something there between you guys and it's ok if there still is i just want you to be happy that's all i have ever wanted for you" Madelyn smiles and wraps her arms around his neck.

"Benny i won't lie there has been something there but i want to live in the moment and i have missed you and i want to be with you..." Benjamin leans in and there lips touches softly, the kiss feels amazing and Madelyn never wants it too end.

soon Benjamin pulls apart and Madelyn gives him puppy's eyes making them both fall into laughter, "so Madelyn will you be with me?" Benjamin said and she nods giving a big smile.

he leans i for another kiss but Madelyn splashes him in the face with the pool water, "hey!" he yells and she laughed as they keep splashing water to each other.
