Spring, 1919. The first world war has ended and Germany fell into a grim state of gray. Along a winding road a car drove through the woods into the town of Cologne. Emma Wolf, a nun and elite in the German military, was hired by the church to investigate odd rumors involving cultists and the use of witchcraft in the nearby woods. Upon entering the town, the once colorful and lively home to many seemed gray and cold like that of a wet duckling abandon by its mother.

The car stopped before the huge dark cathedral of which was so massive it can be seen from about any corner of the town. The car door creaked open and out stepped the pale and beautiful Mother wolf in her black attire.  the bottom of her dress and cornette flowed in the wind revealing a dark red lining on the inside. She had light blue eyes with soft skin, a scar under her left eye and a smaller scar on the ridge of her nose. Many Ravens stalked her as she took her bags and walked up the steps to the massive cathedral looking down upon her. The steps and everything were wet from a night of rain. upon reaching the top, out came a priest dressed in black. a wide black hat covered his gray balding hair; He spoke to Emma with a parched voice.

"Welcome to Cologne Mother Wolf."

Emma responded with a deep, yet light voice, her rich accent too heavy to ignore.

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Father Laurence."

"Im glad you've come Mother Wolf, something very wrong has fallen over our town after the grate conflict."

"Please, just call me Wolf."

"Of course. . . Now please, come in; I will show you to your room. We can discus business on the way."

They were interrupted by the sound of hobnail jack boots approaching up the stairs. The figure, dressed in a sharp military uniform stopped before them. He was tall and the visor of his cap shrouded a horrible scare that ran up the right side of his face. He spoke with a deep, arrogant and authoritative voice.

"nice to see you again, Wolf."

His cigarette hissed like a snake upon landing in pulled rain water.

"Heinrich. . . What business do you have here?"

He proceeded to look down to and play with his sleeves, yet kept his authoritative stance.

"Ah me. . . I just came to see the sensory. Of course i heard you would be around and figured id stop to say hello."

"Mhmm. . . well, goodbye."

"It was a pleasure seeing you again mein fraulein."

The doors to the cathedral creaked as Father Laurence opened them for Emma. The soothing sound of a quire echoed off the beautiful architecture of the cathedrals inside. There steps and voices riverbed as they walked through the right side of the cathedral.

"As i said, things haven't been right as of late, Wolf. There is all this talk about witches using black magic in the woods to the east and some locals have said they have laid eyes upon a demon. This is why i have called you here, Wolf, I want you to investigate. . . dig into the rumors, see if there really true or not."

"So i see. . . I will do my best Father."

Laurence spoke with a hint of desperation on his tongue.

"Please. . . If it turns out to be nothing i will still pay for your return to Berlin, I just want to be sure. I simply cannot risk it no longer. . . The people are counting on the church. . . I do not wish to let them down."

"I promise i wont disappoint."

"Thank you Wolf. . . well. . . this is your room. . . for now."

The two of them stopped before the door of a room with the number 075 upon it in the living area of the church. Father Laurence opened the door and set the key down onto a table in the corner of the room. The room was somewhat small with a work desk and a standard white bed upon a metal frame. Emma dropped her bag of belongings down and peeked out of the window. light beamed in around her figure and painted the desk and wall behind her in a golden orange.
