Today was the day that we would all go to the USJ building. Though I didn't know why but I had a bad feeling about this all. It was the same feeling I had before I sent Shiggy and the others on the mission. That day I nearly lost them all.
The last week passed pretty fast and I somehow bonded with the class even more. They all had their hearts at the right spot and I knew that they would not be the same as the current heroes. One day the society will be a lot better than now. I knew it. They would make it better and I was sure of that.
I was currently on the roof of the dorm with Hawks since he was with me and we would go there together. With go there I meant flying there.
Hawks: You ready feathers?
I didn't know why he started to call me feathers. It was really weird. Not only that but he also were a lot more understanding and was letting me do what I wanted even covering for me. At first I thought it was because I saved him but then again I killed a couple of people in front of a hero and was sure that I would face the consequences but I didn't.
Hawks never told anyone about me killing them. Instead he said that there was another villain there. As if that wasn't enough he told them that the six one had a quirk that could let his hands transform into knifes. Naturally the people believed him because he had no reason to lie. This was how the heroes were on the search for a person that never existed in the first place.
Me: Hawks?
Hawks: Yes, feathers?
Me: You still haven't told me why you are treating me this way.
Hawks: What way?
Me: You called me birdy before and now I am stuck with feathers... You also covered for me.
Hawks: I don't know what you mean.
Me: Look chicken. I know when you are lying! Besides in the past week no matter how many times I called you chicken you never told me to stop calling you that even once in the last week.
Hawks: Feather would you let me know your real name?
Me: Izuku but you know that already.
Hawks: I mean your full name.
Me: Why do you want to know it?
Hawks: Just asking, feathers.
Me: How about you tell me yours?
Hawks: It's Keigo.
Me (whispering): Keigo Fried Chicken? Now it makes sense why you like to eat chicken from KFC...
Hawks: Hm? What was that?
Me: Nothing!
Hawks: I... I never had the opportunity to be with my family even once. My parents sold me to the hero commissions and I have been training with them since I was 4. They training is brutal and there was never a day I could rest. I had no one to trust nor anyone that loved me.
Me: Why are you telling me your past? Aren't you like forbidden to tell me that?
Hawks: I am so sorry Feathers!
Me: Huh?
Hawks: If I knew that you were all by yourself... Then I would have saved you a lot sooner!!!
Me: What are talking about?
I tried to laugh it away. Something didn't felt right about this discussion.
Why?
Why is he telling me this?
