As I sink into the indigo blue
Nothing is plausible
The dark waves are powerful
They drown me
I have these thoughts
They flicker
I feel numb
Sleep is the only option
How much more can I endure
Of this indigo blue
The weight of it
Laying on my heart
I want to have the white
The blinding, vibrant white
The white that fills me with joy
Sometimes too much of it
Where do I go from here
To the gray?
The state of nothing
Where there is no rupture?
But the gray is boring
I want to soar white
No more indigo
Swimming in its depths
It's a teeter totter
White, blue, white, blue
Sometimes gray
But not for long
Gray is lifeless
Not much emotion
Not depressed
But not happy either
Will I ever learn to find
The perfect balance?
