As Avneet got back to dancing, the big screen lit up. It was Siddharth's face. He had sent a video message.
He said: Hey Guys! It's me Siddharth Nigam. I am really sorry, I couldn't make it to Prom. I just wished I could have had one dance with the most preety, funny, amazing, smart and the best girl I had ever met.
Just then Siddharth crept behind Ashi and touched her shoulder.
Ashi: Leave me alone! I am watching this video.
This was how it had happened the day they met.
Sid: Ashi turn around.
Ashi was stunned. She turned around to find Siddharth.
Ashi: Sid, what are you doing here? I thought you left??
Sid: I couldn't leave without atleadt one dance.
Ashi: Where is Vaishnavi? And the camera crew.
Sid: No one is here. I wanna be a real teenager for once!
And they did the slow dance together.
As they danced,
Sid: I am thinking of staying here, for the rest of the semester.
Ashi: Really? Well you are gonna need a trig tutor then.
Sid: Really? Who?
Ashi: Me! Dummy.
They both laughed and then leaned in and kissed.
Avneet saw them kissing. She turned Riyaz.
Avneet: Riyaz!!! They are kissing!!!
Riyaz: Kiss?
And then he leaned in to kiss Avneet.
And so, they spent the rest of the night dancing.
Ashi smiled.
This was the perfect ending to her perfect day.
