"Soo Jennie are you going with anyone" Adam says sitting on the lunch table across from me

"Going where?"

"School dance next week, it usually happens once a year" Emma suddenly said

"Yea, if you want I can take you" He says again with a smirk on his face

If I could go I would, but I never do well in places that include a big group of people, I become completely timid and anxious

"Um, I probably won't be going"

"Why not" Xavier replies looking at me

"Im just not into those type of events"

"You should still try it, it can be fun sometimes" Xavier uttered

"Look if she doesn't wanna go she doesn't have to, but if you do go Jennie you can go with me and Juliette" Emma suddenly says

"Yeah, but maybe Aaron would ask you to go with him" Juliette all of a sudden says with a smirk plastered on her face causing my eyes to widen

"What, um no we barely even know each other, there's no way he would ask me to go anyways"

Plus he's probably not the type of person to go to school dances

"Aaron? Aaron Willson likes you?" Adam slowly muttered

"Look you guys I don't like him, he doesn't like me, and i'm not going to that dance"

He most definitely wouldn't go to a dance with me

"Yeah its good you don't like him, especially after the shit he has done, I don't trust him" Xavier replied

"What shit has he done?" I replied growing curious

"You haven't heard of what happened?"

"No I haven't"

"Well apparently, his older brother Carl spread a rumor last year that Aaron murdered his own father" Emma said from besides me as I stare at her in shock

He murdered his father?

"It's wasn't a rumor, it was true, I suggest you stay away from him Jennie" Xavier uttered

"Look you guys I'm gonna go to the bathroom before the bell rings I'll see you guys later alright" I say slowly heading out of the cafeteria

Did he actually kill his own dad? Is that why he told me that I should stay away from him, or that he's a monster

Shaking the thoughts away from my head I walked towards the football field but I suddenly spotted Aaron sitting on the benches smoking a cigarette

I shouldn't go near him but for some reason my feet slowly carried me towards him

"Do you need something darling" He quietly says

"Are the rumors true?" I couldn't help but ask

He slowly turns his eyes to me as he speaks. "That I killed my father? Yeah I did"
