You saw Deku and thought, 'yeah. No. I'm out' you where about to make a run for it but it was to late. He had already gotten to close, so you put your hands behind yourself and mentally cursed.
'This gon hurt like a bitch.' You used your quirk to propel yourself forward but just a bit and started making a dash for the tunnel as you felt your hands start to burn from the overuse. You ignored the pain and fan as fast as your legs could take you.
Not even a second later you hear a explosion. You look back to see Deku stumbling and running towards you at full speed. And to your surprise, this nigga was fast as fuck. In no time he caught up with you.
"Damn- Deku never knew you where this fast!" you huffed out a small chuckle as you feel your lungs burn and craved for air. He just chuckled feeling the same burning as you but kept on pushing.
"y-yeah" that was the last thing he said until both of you pushed each other to your limits, going faster and faster with every step until you both were a step away from the finish line.
"AND THE WINNER IS...." Mic yelled on the edge of his seat.
"IZUKU MIDORIYA and Y/N L/N, ITS A TIE" Mic yelled with excitement as the crowd cheered and roared in delight.
Once you and Deku stopped running, you went up to him outta breath and and wheezed. "*inhales* holy *exhales* hell man, that *inhales* was fuckin tense *exhales* now then *imhales* ima pass out on ya *exhales* catch me *pass out*" and with that, you collapsed on top on him making him stumble from impact and also falling.
He didn't move you, probably because he was just as equally and tired as you to move, so you both just laid there trying to catch your breaths as the other competitors came into the arena.
"Y/n! Deku! You bastards! What the hell was that, huh?! " Bakugo yelled and started stomping over to the both of you. Although he stopped when he saw you laying on deku's chest, both of silently sleeping due to exhaustion. He didn't know why but his chest felt like it was squeezing, was he jealous? No it couldn't be. Right?
He didn't know what to think. He just left you two alone and walked away.
"We should leave them alone," Jirou said from the sidelines, pulling Mina back who was going over to you. "Awww fine but for 5 minutes then I'm taking my ass over there" Mina said while crossing her arms.

Once me and the other people made it through the wall, I see n/n and Deku laying down sleeping, 'Damn that's kinda cute, welp time to ruin it!' "N/N- h-hey let me go! Jirouuu!" "we should leave them alone." "awww fine but for 5 minutes then I'm taking my ass over there." I said and then crossed my arms and started to walk with her when a I saw my brown haired friend looking kinda down. Until I noticed that she was staring at something, well more like someone. I followed her eyes to see that they landed on n/n and Deku. 'Ohhhh. Heh.'
