Nevertheless she let him in and was introduced to all who had gathered at the occasion. In a short time, was everyone seated at the dinner table which was laid perfectly fine with plates and other cutlery put in a proper manner, napkins folded tidily and glasses filled with wine added a luxurious look to the meal. Everyone was enjoying the delicious meal which had been cooked by a single mother with no help whatsoever. Emma was being praised by all, but as for her, she was only looking at the uninvited person and noticing his table manners was she contented a little. Not before long did a conversation began, with Mr. Phillips asking the gentleman more about him and his mysterious past.
