WoF (something on Io)

So I was reading Ready Player One and in the book it said that one of Jupiter's moons is called Io. Does this mean that Io, the dragon from Wings of Fire, is named after a moon? and if that's true why did nobody tell me?

This makes me really want to add some silver scales to a drawing of Io (Yes, I know the moon Io is not silver, it's gold/red depending on the angle)
