You and Thor came up with many plans to convince Loki to teach you, but those plans required Loki unlocking his door, and or coming out of his room. You suspected that he came out, but only at night. He had to eat. So, you decided, after a few days of waiting for him to come out or unlock his door, to stay up all night and make a move when he comes for food.

You head to your room and pick up a book that will keep you awake with suspense and wait for a noise coming from across the hall, telling you that he came out of his room. About two hundred pages later, or about an hour and a half, you heard the squeak of his door. You slowly made you way to your door and crack it so you can watch without being seen. There he was, in pajama pants and no shirt. He was muscular, but not so cut it was gross, which is how many guys your age were, they all tried so hard. You watched him close the door behind him and turn to face your door with his head down.

"Are you just going to watch..." his smooth liquefying voice whispered.

You open the door all the way, bushing looking at him, "No... sorry, I have been trying to catch you, I wanted to apologize for what I said the other night, it was harsh of me and completely not true."

"I know," he said softly, "I was just trying to respect your wishes and stay away from you,"

"Well... uhm how about this, can we start again?" you ask cautiously trying to keep your eyes on his face.

"Sure," Loki replied lifting his head a little high almost meeting your gaze.

"Hi, I am y/n l/n, nice to meet you" you said smiling.

"Hi, I am Loki Laufeyson," He replied making eye contact.

"Where are you headed?" you asked blushing under his gaze.

"To the kitchen for tea and a snack, would you like to join me?" he asked, hoping you would not except it.

"Umm, sure" you say as Loki turns and heads for the kitchen, and you follow.

As he makes the tea, you sit at the bar in silence, you had nothing to say. There was so tension in air it almost made you queasy. You got up to grab something to snack on as he finished the tea, and you both sat down at the bar two chairs away from one another, not saying a word, glancing at each other every once and a while.

Once you had finished your tea and snack, you slowly got up and turned to face Loki, "Uhm thanks, talk to you later I guess"

"Uhm yeah sure" he said looking down at his tea.

You headed back your room and flopped down on your bed. Forgetting to close your door, you thought, at least I made progress... well kind of, we sat in the same room for thirty minutes without a word between us, if you can call that progress. Damn I forgot to close the door, eh its fine. You sorted through that very tension filled uneventful experience, slowly drifting off to sleep.

*LOKI POV*

He didn't understand her, one night telling him to stay away, and then when he investigated her mind the next morning, she felt guilty and wanted to talk to him, so he had avoided her at all costs, which was very hard. He lived across the hall from her, and he could hear her every thought. So maybe it was not super difficult. He had known that she was going to ambush him, so he planned on just not going out that night but changed his mind when he heard her planning what she was going to say. So, he preceded out his door and faced hers...

Sitting in the kitchen alone, mind racing to find out why she felt guilty. He remembered a memory he had pulled from her head when she was asleep, it was so traumatizing that it had waken her up and had cause him to fall as he was pacing. After he saw that memory, he had dug through her memories each night, waking her each night and causing accidents each night up until the night she told him to stay away. That's when he had stopped.
