Chapter 48: Leaving Day

"You know last time we all were here was when I was leaving, but it ended badly" Alberto says as Luca groans

"Dude! Bruno is already going haywire about Y/n leaving! Don't give Bruno more shit to worry about" Luca says and Alberto just shrugs

"I promise you Luca nothing will happen to me and I'll call the both of you as soon as I get home they say you two know nothing happened" I say as I hold out my pinkies you them

They stare down and my pinkies before the look at each of theirs and a small light bulb goes off before they connect their pinkies to mine

"I pinky promise" I say as we get let our hands fall to the side

They both hug me tightly, nuzzling their faces into each side of my neck, before pulling back to stare at me. Giulia walks up behind them with six wrapped gifts; One from Luca, One from Alberto, One from Giulia, One from Massimo, One from Luca's parents and One from Ercole

They're all small but they each have 'don't open until on the plane' written at the top and I smile before placing the small gifts into my carry on,my backpack, and turning to face them

"Remember this isn't goodbye it's...." I start

"We'll see you later" The trio finishes

We all have one last group hug before I walk up into the steps of the train with all my luggage, I take one look back at my boyfriends, who're crying messes, Giulia, who is trying to comfort Luca and Alberto, Massimo, who's giving me a warm smile with a small wave, Luca's parents,who're trying not to cry, and Ercole who's giving a small salute. I salute back at Ercole before I feel a jolt from the train, indicating it's started moving, and it slowly starts to pick up speed and the town of Portorosso, that had become my home in the past few months slowly fades out of view.....

BONUS:

I sit in my seat on the plane as I stare out the windowC, miraculously nobody had booked a seat beside me so I had the whole isle to myself. As I stare out the window I remember the gifts that Giulia gave me and I quickly reach into my backpack and pull the out. I decide to open the Adult's gifts first (Luca's parents and Massimo)

I open Massimo's first and see a hat just like his but with my name stitched into it, I put it on and it fits perfectly. Next is Luca's parents gift; it's a photo album of baby Luca. I laugh softly as I quickly look through all the photos of baby Luca before I grab Ercole's gift. I open Ercole's gift and see it's a box, I open the box and see a small toy Vespa painted Blue,Green and purple.

"Ercole painted it Luca and Albertos colors" I think to myself as I smile softly down at the toy Vespa

I put the toy Vespa down before grabbing Giulia's gift; I open it to see a beanie, more specifically the beanie Giulia had told me was her favorite, I hear a paper kinda crumble inside and reach inside the beanie and grab out a small sticky note

It reads; Hey Y/n,
So I know my gift isn't as much as Luca or Albertos but I still wanted you to have my favorite beanie. The beanie means as much to me as you do, which is a lot.

Can't wait to see you again,

I smile at the note before putting it in my pocket and putting the beanie back in my pack. I grab out Luca and Albertos presents and just hold them in my lap for awhile staring down at their horribly done wrapping job

I tear off the paper from both the presents and open the bo es to find that in Albertos present is a drawing of me and him in a Vespa,his cologne, and one of his shirts along with a hoodie. In Luca's is his cologne, a piece of his shorts and a hoodie and a photo from the our first date. I begin to tear up a bit as I stare down at the gifts knowing damn well they probably fought over a few things and that so much thought went into what to get me.

I hold up both of their hoodies to my nose and take a deep breath, still smelling their fishy yet expensive smell. I exhale before smiling and putting on Albertos hoodie then covering myself with Luca's as a makeshift blanket. I close my eyes with a smile still on my face

"I can't wait to be back in your arms again Ragazzi......."

And that's the end of book 1! I hope you all enjoyed reading this and are excited for Book 2, I'll try to get the first few chapters out tomorrow after band camp.

I'm so happy you all stayed around for this hot mess of a book and I'm super happy you enjoyed it.

Few side notes for Book 2; hold onto your wheelchairs, Sea monster Se-, Meeting new people, bigger twists(hopefully), all characters are a year older and just maybe overall a better read

I love you all so fucking much!! And in case you may not hear it a lot just know I'm so fucking proud of you!! Whether all you did so far today was just roll over to grab your phone or you were able to accomplish something you've been holding off for awhile, whatever it may be just know I'm very fucking proud of you!
