they arrived at the airbnb. azea was sleeping on lani's shoulder and lani's head on top of hers, looking out the window. avic hopped out the car to take their suitcases.
"lani, go wake up azea while i help avic with their suitcases," lani's mom spoke while looking at the rear-view mirror and left to open the trunk.
lani sat up straight and started to poke azea's shoulder, "azzy, we're here. wake up." the girl didn't budge so lani shook her. still no use.
"azzy! wake up or i'm going to slap you," still no answer.
lani slapped the girl lightly, but hard enough for her to wake up. "what the hell?"
"we're here! get up and hop out so you can continue your sleep," lani said and hopped out of the car. so did azea.
azea and lani helped a little with the suitcases and came inside the house, looking around.
"this place looks cozy," azea remarked. lani agreeing with her.
"it really does." they put their suitcases in azea and avic's room and all came downstairs.
"we'll get going now," lani's mom said, smiling at the siblings.
"thank you for dropping us off, keep safe!" avic smiled at them.
"thank you tita," azea also thanked lani's mom, smiling back at her.
"you're welcome azzy." lani and her mom walked out the door, to their car.
"text me when you get home, idiot!" azea yelled at lani, her response only being a thumbs up. shortly after, they drove away.
"we don't have food to eat yet, bunso." avic said to her younger sister.
"it's fine, ate. i'm not that hungry anyway." azea responded, going up to her room.
"okay but i have some snacks if you want!"
"maybe i'll get some later!" azea shouted back, opening her door and plopping down on her bed.
this is comfy, azea thought. she grabbed her phone, connecting to the wifi and checking her socials. she found nothing interesting and just listened to some music, when her phone dinged.
