"Thanks. By the way we haven't spoken in a while. What have you been upto?" she asked.

Ash started to think this was a good opportunity to ask her on what conspired today.

"Not much just adjusting to my new class. What about you? You had it pretty rough today," he said casually. May let out an huge exasperated sigh.

"Don't even get me started, you've probably seen it on the news correct?" she asked. Ash nodded quickly.

"I had to stat my report to the police since I was present there directly. And also some paperwork here and there, but my manager took care off it. Well I guess being a official coordinator has its perks," she muttered to herself while Ash listened.

'I need to probe a little further and find out exactly how much she has seen and knows,' he thought.

"It was very reckless yet brave of you May, I am impressed," said Ash. May looked a bit embarrassed. "It's nothing really. But I have to say, that guy from earlier really did a number on those guys."

Ash looked intrigued.

"By 'that guy' you mean the same individual about who everyone is talking about on the Internet?" he asked while May nodded in response.

"Yes. He was really elusive you know. Actually what happened was-"

After that May described everything she experienced today from her point of view. It wasn't really much different from what Ash guessed, but she didn't know anything about his identity, which was a relief. But then, why is she here?

"After that, I think he called upon another Pokemon and used an extremely powerful and high level move to blow up the artillery and the surrounding vicinity. I would say, maybe a fire type or a dragon type, but I am not entirely sure."

'So she hasn't seen Charizard either due to all that smoke earlier, that's another relief,' thought Ash with a sigh.

"I am glad you are safe though," said Ash genuinely with a smile. He was actually relieved nothing bad happened to her due to his actions. May averted her eyes and replied with a 'mmph'.

Suddenly Ash noticed something behind May and his eyes widened. The same black hoodie he was wearing this afternoon was hanging on the hook right beside the door through which May came in.

'Damn it. I was careless."

"Something the matter Ash?" asked May, noticing his tensed look.

"Huh? Oh its nothing. I-I was wondering why you came so late at night. Not that I mind, but I thought you would prefer some rest after everything what happened today," asked Ash, while glancing subtly behind.

May blushed a bit at the question.

"W-well, I thought I would share some of my thoughts with you. Talking really helps me clear my mind..."

"I see..." said Ash, as he saw Gary sneaking out of the balcony and trying to get the hoodie like a good for nothing burglar. Apparently, he has also noticed Ash's blunder of leaving it out in the open, but he wasn't doing any better.

'No Gary! Bad idea! Abort Abort!'

Ash was yelling at him internally, while still keeping his composure outside.

"I am happy to know that it helps. But I am sure you need rest as well. After all, we have school tomorrow. You need to be a diligent student since you are the president," said Ash with a chuckle. May looked a bit shocked at first but giggled later. "Sorry, I forgot to tell you about it teehee~" said May stucking out her tongue cutely.
