"That leaves the palace as the best opportunity for an ambush." Anakin added with caution.

"Are you that certain an attack is imminent?" Padme worried for her people and the chancellor.

"I'm afraid so, which is why I'm making Ahsoka your personal bodyguard." Anakin stated.

"At your service, My Lady." Ahsoka told her with a slight mocking tone at her title, both laughing it off lightly.

"If there's trouble, Ahsoka will get you, the Queen, and the rest of your staff to safety." Anakin continued.

"What about you?"

"Hopefully, I'll be where I always am." Anakin answers the Senator.

"He means saving the day." Ahsoka elaborated.

"Of course he does." Padme laughed.

"The stage is set. Activate the ray shield." Anakin ordered through com link, everyone standing around the stage for security.

"Copy that, General Skywalker." The stage was surrounded by a light purple ray shield that light up the darkness from the night.

"It is an honor to be here for this momentous occasion. The pride I feel for this planet cannot be put into words." Palpatine stood before Naboo. "847 years ago, Naboo joined the Republic, and tonight we celebrate that union! Take a moment and look around this glorious city of yours. It wasn't long ago this was all plasma mines. Naboo has indeed come a long way. But as we chart a bold course for the future, let us never forget our past!" He finished as fireworks went off behind him and I jumped a little at the loud, unfamiliar sound.

"You alright there Jayko?" Anakin placed a simple hand on my shoulder, noticing my startled behaviour.

"Yes, Anakin" I nodded after regaining myself.

"Skywalker! The shield generator!" Mace suddenly shouted out as Anakin looked towards the shield generator to find a bounty hunter messing with it. He ran over quickly, but it was destroyed by the bounty hunter and blown up before him. The shield came down quickly, the rest of us rushing to get everyone out safely.

"All right, you two, take the Chancellor to that speeder and get him out of here." Mace ordered two guards nearby.

"This way, Your Majesty. Hurry!" Ahsoka rushed the royals into the palace where she could protect them. Anakin jumped over to fight against the bounty hunter, deflecting shots with his lightsaber before he was electrocuted, letting the hunter escape.

"Those tentacles pack quite a punch." Anakin groaned as I helped him up with Windu.

"Come on."

"The Chancellor! The guard escorting them is a bounty hunter!" Obi Wan warned as we all chased after them. We had reached the speeder to see the chancellor sitting in the back of one.

"Chancellor, are you all right?" Anakin asked only to be punched in the face by the person he thought was the Chancellor. The cover on the person phased to reveal a bounty hunter underneath. "Where is the Chancellor?" Anakin demanded, pinning her down after cutting off her arm swiftly when she tried to attack.

"There!" I pointed towards Cad Bane and the chancellor across the stage escaping.

"So long, Jedi!" Bane called as we rushed over to find him taking the chancellor away in a hurry.

"I'm going after the Chancellor." Kenobi stated.

"Copy that, Obi-Wan." Mace replied.

"I'll send you the coordinates and hold Bane there as long as I can." Kenobi promised as he sped off as well, leaving us to find them.
